Beautifully located right on a bend of the river K

Posted 19-May-2017
Pros: The grounds were spacious and well maintained. The lawns and pool overlooked the beautiful river Kwai and the restaurant served beautiful food.
Cons: What unfortunately lets this hotel down is the size and appointment of the rooms. They are too small and too cold. A screen door to the balcony would
Location: A fine location for us to get taxi to Hellfire Pass and Erawan falls
Stayed 2 nights whilst we explored Erawan Falls, Hellfire Pass and river Kwai bridge.

Peaceful & Relaxing

Posted 21-Mar-2017
Pros: Towels. Fluffy with good scent. Nice mattress. 24 hr stay. no strict check out time.
Cons: shower temperature. Too hot then too cold, can't adjust to the warm water.
Location: I use GPS to find the hotel otherwise I'd get lost.
Very nice and clean room. The restaurant is located by the river serving nice breakfast.

One night in Kanchanaburi

Posted 08-Mar-2017
Pros: Very clean hotel. Great breakfast with omelette/egg station and sausages I'm familiar with (not hot dogs).
Cons: Perhaps a note the the tour company reinforcing that the vehicle we were riding in had weak air conditioning in the back where we sat.
Extended our stay in Thailand due to flight scheduling issues and decided to see the bridge on the river Kwai. Hotel we booked based on reviews did not disappoint. Staff up to General Manager were helpful and friendly. Hotel is walking distance to bridge. Room and facilities were very clean and well maintained. Took tour scheduled through hotel and requested a car after to take us to the airport. Everything worked out fine. Car to the airport at the end of the day was a pleasant ride. Interesting to note the driver had both hands firmly on the wheel for the entire drive (about 2.5 hours) and looked to have a forward camera recording the drive - felt very safe. Overall a great stay.

Pros: Most everything.
Cons: Dinner a bit pricey for quality but breakfast buffet more than makes up for it.
Right on the river. Close to the river kwai bridge. Beautiful hotel grounds. Very helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel in great position within easy walk to Bridge. Views of the bridge and lovely gardens. All our meals were eaten at hotel restaurant, which had variety, and was excellent quality and value for money. Not too expensive. Breakfast great. Staff very helpful, helped us to organise a day trip to Hellfire Pass via private car and driver and our onward trip via minibus to Ayuthuya. We used the free bicycles to travel through town to the POW cemetery and Thailand Burma Railway Museum opposite the cemetery. The train from Bangkok stops just before the bridge, so get off there rather than main Kanchanaburi railway station. Room had all the facilities, but was on the small side.
