Peaceful setting not far from the Death Railway
The setting (by a golf course) is away from pretty much everything.
Our chalet was well appointed and overlooked the lake, which was well away from the golf course and the main building so was very quiet.
The pool was a good size and not very busy.
Golf carts are used to take you around if you don;t want the short walks between the car park/main building and the chalet.
The restaurant is open sided, but fully roofed, so you can eat breakfast in the fresh air every morning.
Breakfast consisted of a couple of asian dishes, fruit, cereals, toast, eggs/sausage served buffet style.
Internet worked well in the Chalet.
The only thing that let the place down was the time it took to check-in.
There was only one person in front of us, who was dealt with within about five minutes, but it was still well over half an hour from arrival to getting into the chalet.
Obviously, you only check-in once, so it wasn't a major problem.
Check-out, on the other hand, was over in seconds!
