Clean, Modern, Comfortable, Close to the Bridge

Posted 05-Aug-2016
Pros: Comfortable beds, good shower, location, friendly staff, close to the Bridge, but in a quiet peaceful setting.
Cons: Nothing really. They have 24 rooms now and are building an additional 26. I hope that quality does not drop with the increased rooms.
Location: The Bridge. See the Dutch Cemetery and the Burma-Thailand Railway Museum. Both are across from the train station - not close to Bridge. Need car.
This hotel is great. It is about 300 meters from the Bridge Over the River Kwai. The rooms are clean. The showers are good. The bed and pillows are comfortable. The breakfast is much better than most breakfasts that come with the room rate. You order your main dish cooked to order and they bring it to you. The rest of the items are on the buffet. I really liked their fresh fruit as well as their chocolate croissants. The breakfast is served in Peppers restaurant which also is open for dinner. The food is good and reasonably priced. The hotel has a car park and parking is free. We plan on returning here in the future.

Restauration correcte, sauf petit déjeuner trop simple.

Perfect for Romantic Relaxation.

Posted 22-Jun-2016
Pros: Views relaxation, Location
Cons: Nothing springs to mind.
Location: You can book things from the Hotel or plan a head, catch the Train get a long tail boat visit nearby museums, visit the war memorials. Or just relax.
A perfect location 5 minutes from the bridge, quiet relaxing and beautiful views, perfect for a romantic get away, staff very helpful nothing too much. You can have use of some bicycles free of charge to go exploring. Bathroom a little small but very clean modern. Food very tasteful and reasonable, would stay again.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff

Posted 18-Jun-2016
We stayed here for 3 nights in June, the location is breathtaking, surrounded by nature. Birds, lizards, water monitors. The rooms are compact shall we say but the bed is big and comfortable considering we slept with our toddler in the same bed. The staff go above and beyond to be courteous and helpful and helped us organise taxis and transfers. It is walking distance to the train station so very convenient. Excellent breakfast choices and the restaurant is good too, yes a bit pricey for Thai standards but we found other restaurants to be a similar price. Lovely pool. Bring mosquito spray, as you are close to the river it is expected. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Leuk hotel met persoonlijke aandacht

Posted 17-Jun-2016

Posted 20-Apr-2016 on Hotels
