La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kanab

4/10 Poor

"Everything was fine upon check-in. The hotel was as nice as it could be for being a La Quinta. However, after check-in, we experienced issues with house cleaning. The first day we checked in we slept a little late the next day, and we did not get our room cleaned. the day after I was called by the front desk manager and told that they were not gonna keep employee there to clean our room after 11 o’clock in the morning. 11 AM is checkout time. We left to go on our hike at 11:11 AM in our room still wasn’t clean. So long story short out of a five nights stay that cost in $800. They made up our bed one night out of five and only brought us clean towels upon request. Front desk manager has no Customer Service service skills whatsoever. Very disappointed in this particular hotel!!!"

"I always stay here twice a year on my way up and on my way down from Phoenix to Seattle. I have two small dogs and they do charge $20 per Pet, which is fine with me because the room itself is very reasonable. Very clean rooms. My only complaint is they never have ice in the ice machine and their curtains need to be replaced. I have to finagle them so that nobody can see in. There really isn’t a good place for the dogs to go potty. You need to walk down the street a bit or to the side of the building. Very friendly host and the maids were very accommodating and wonderful to speak to. I called to see if I could check in early and it was no problem. I appreciated that. I will be staying again in September on my return."

"The room was great, the place was quiet and clean. HOWEVER! i called the motel several times to tell them we might be coming in around 8 or 8:30 pm. No answer. Then we got to the motel and learned why, no one was there?? the instructions on the door said go 500 ft west to the BEST WESTERN and they will have your key? we did. At the BW they said come here in the morning for breakfast and to drop your key off. We liked the Aiken, we could stay there again, now we know the details."

"When we booked we specifically booked here due to the fact that they had a hot tub and we were coming off of a 9 day hiking trip and wanted to enjoy the last night with a hot tub however after checking in, we realized the hot tub was not in service. It does look like a nice pool and hot tub area so I'm sure when its available, its very nice."
