Staff was great , excellent hospitality as soon as you set foot in the place , and they have great breakfast buffet. 24 hour room service , excellent pools , spa is excellent , and there a lot of bars/ great food reasonably priced in Kamari . You will save a lot if you book here and eat there while you can take a bus to check Fira and oia if you looking to save money . ATMs are no commission unlike the rest of the island , and there a beautiful black beach right there as well. Overall couldn't ask for more this place is amazing !!
We stayed 4 nights at this hotel at the beginning of September and everything was perfect. Very nice and helpful staff, lovely pool with very good cocktails. Our room was big very quiet but the bed was located upstairs. It's impossible not to notice the proximity to the airport but it wasn't disturbing at all.
The village where the hotel is located is nice with plenty of restaurants and bars facing the beach.
If you're not a fan of motorcycles don't fancy driving in the island you can take the bus. It only takes 15 minutes to get to Fira and from there you can take another bus (15-20 minutes) to get to Oia.
My wife and I went to Santorini just last week. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit this made a big difference since we were exhausted from touring Athens and flying into Santorini.
The staff all of them however that night Theodosia made us feel really comfortable, it was her that send us the bottle of wine to the room and the fresh fruit. She also welcomed us with fresh squeezed orange juice at the reception while she showed us the map from Santorini and must do's.
The room and the entire place was immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable and the rooms terrace was also very inviting.
When we toured the island we are convinced is the best place to stay in Santorini. Really recommended.
Next time we are in Santorini Cavo Bianco it is, only difference is that next time we would get a room with a private pool, those look also very nice.

The hotel is 2 mins walk across to the beach and has many tavernas/restaurants within mins. The pool area is lovely and we found no difficulty in getting a sunlounger. Yiasemi bar at the side of the pool serves a good range of drinks and some food. You can rent 2 sunloungers with an umbrella over on the beach in the Yiasemi bar section for 5 euros. The room was a reasonable size with decent facilities. It is self-catering and you do get a coffee pot, kettle, bowls/cutlery and a couple of pans (the only thing missing was a bread knive). There is a 2 ring stove top and a refridgerator. The hotel complex is kept spotless and is well lit at night. The staff are really nice and helpful, happy to book restaurants/tours/car hire for you. The rooms are cleaned daily with towels/beds changed every other day. Cant fault it and would recommend to anyone.
I cannot rate this hotel too highly. Knowledgeable, very helpful and very friendly staff. The owner and his wife were beyond terrific. Very close to the beach, and to stores including an excellent grocery store, and to the myriad of restaurants that overlook the beach. Set in the paradise of Santorini. I can't say enough about this hotel -- I am going back to stay even longer next year.

From our first greeting to our departure the staff at Tamarix were everything we had read in previous trip advisor posts before we booked the holiday. The suites are clean, spacious and have the wow factor we all hope for at the start of a holiday. The location of the hotel was perfect for us being just off the beech with lots of nice restaurants nearby. We would definitely come back to the Tamarix suites, Afroditi, Maria, Demi and George all made our stay one to remember!

Six kilometres from Thira, this low-key resort caters for northern European families on package deals. The two kilometre-long beach of black volcanic sand has sun beds and umbrellas for hire, water sports facilities, and a Blue Flag for cleanliness. Behind the beach stand concrete hotels and villas, tavernas and bars. Close by, on the headland separating Kamari from Perissa, lies the archaeological site of ninth-century BC Ancient Thira.
