Hotel was really nice. Location is perfect. Staff are very friendly and helpful, always willing to go above and beyond. The room, hotel and the grounds/swimming pool were extremely clean at all times probably the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in! I definitely recommend to any one that is thinking of going to Santorini.

Excellent location 2mins to beach and tavernas...great breakfast choice, friendly efficient staff, clean and modern, lovely pool with pool bar (good cocktails) and nice chilled vibe. Only down is its on the flight path ..but we got over that quite quickly...found it quiet entertaining!
"Great location, handy to restaurants and promenade"
Hotel staff amazing. Pool area filled up quickly. Bathroom facilities reasonably basic. Suite room was spacious and good for youngsters to roam. Brilliant location....would I stay again? Yes, if in Kamari.

We had a wonderful stay at this family run hotel. The owners were extremely helpful, very pleasant and nothing was any trouble. They collected us from the airport which prevented any stress, breakfast was adequate, fresh bread, cake and fruit, cheese, ham, tea and coffee. They loaned us cups so we could have tea and coffee in our rooms. The rooms were very clean and comfortable with beautiful sea views and were cleaned every day. (We also got free access to the safe) The pool area was very quiet and relaxing and exceptionally clean. It was situated close to the beach and the promenade. Although the wifi signal was not very strong, it is free and only a minor issue. We would definitely recommend staying at the Castro hotel.

The hotel is located close to Kamari which is on the East of the island. The hotel is quiet, with its own pool and bar (the other main pools and beach in the description are attached to the sister hotel 50m down the road), serving great drinks and not overcrowded. The staff are very friendly and organised us our quad hire, a sunset yacht trip (recommended) and taxis when needed. The sister hotel is where you can eat in the evening - there is a buffet dinner and a la carte menu but we found nicer places to eat down the road in Kamari and Fira.
The most popular beaches are in the South and the West, and the epic sunsets can be viewed from Fira (in the West) and Oia (in the North). Additionally, there isn't anything by way of nightlife or alternative eating venues close to the hotel, so you need to head to Fira or Kamari in the evenings if you want a bit of variety.
To get to the above places we rented a quad bike (there are buses but these stop at around 9pm& getting a taxi back from Fira or elsewhere to to the hotel can be a free for all as there are a limited number on the island!!) As we mostly drove we tended to have a drink with food in Fira or Kamari and then drive back to the hotel bar for a few more. You can risk it and stay out for drinks in Fira which is where the main nightlife is but we heard tales of people waiting over an hour at the taxi rank to get home.
Overall, a quiet, relaxing hotel with friendly staff - just take note of location/ getting around

Everyone at this place was nice. Hotel was super clean, close to beach and restaurants. Great location. Just beware of mezzanine room as the second floor where you sleep can get a bit warm, however, tolerable. Would definitely come back.
Six kilometres from Thira, this low-key resort caters for northern European families on package deals. The two kilometre-long beach of black volcanic sand has sun beds and umbrellas for hire, water sports facilities, and a Blue Flag for cleanliness. Behind the beach stand concrete hotels and villas, tavernas and bars. Close by, on the headland separating Kamari from Perissa, lies the archaeological site of ninth-century BC Ancient Thira.
