Very poorly from Hotel.com Had to show my invoice for reception that Accomodation was paid directly to Hotel.com We got the Queens Residence and it was quite spacious and big, both rooms with own en-suite. "When we arrived at our destination very tired and hungry we got told that this place was fully booked. They made a dou le booking. Then the owner Hennie made a plan for us to stay in a cottage outside of oudshoorn. We did not make any plans for food as we thaught we will load off our baggage and get something to eat. "We arrived late in the evening as dinner was being served but after a slight mix up with our room we were given lovely cottage/house that was beautiful. We were only here for one night but it was so lovely. The dinner was simple but really enjoyable and all guests sat around the fire pit afterwards until late into the night telling stories about their travels. The staff here were so friendly and helpful and would recommend this place. "

"While the room was clean and quite big, the mattresses were extremely hard and not comfortable at all. This being said, the electric blankets were a nice touch, and the overall room layout was very nice, especially the outisde shower which was quite a hit with the kid. The staff was very pleasant, the giraffes awesome to stare at, and the breakfast quite hearty, but we honestly found the nightly cost to be quite expensive for what we got."
