My husband and I stayed here this past weekend. We arrived after midnight to find they did not have us "on the list" for a room that night, although we had reservations. The clerk proceeded to "check a few rooms to see if anyone was in them." Finally, she decided to give us the room of someone who had not yet arrived. Apparently, there were computer problems and they had no idea who was in which room and how many they were expecting. Our room was run down, the two beds had poor quality mattresses - one was practically on the ground. There was no cold water, only hot, the toilet was stained and there was water running out of the back of it. The towels were mismatched and very worn. Unfortunately, we were unable to find another room in town and had to stay a second night. When we arrived back at our room, we noticed that the room below ours had big fluorescent signs from the police dept. saying the room was sealed because of drug activity/residue. When we got to our room, our key card didn't work. When we asked the clerk, he happily re-keyed it without asking for our names or ID, just the room number. We could have easily gone into any room in the hotel - he had no idea which was our real room number (and anyone could have gone into ours!). The breakfast "buffet" was a joke - "ONE DANISH PER PERSON" and the food was all gone by 10 a.m. When I checked out and asked the girl if we were all set she "pretend" typed on the computer that was obviously still down and said, "Yep! You're all set!" I will check my bill carefully!!
