"This property is HUGE. Like there is a train from the front lobby to the rooms huge so be prepared to walk a lot if you don’t want to wait for it. This resort really does have tons to do if you didn’t feel like going out and exploring though. The lagoon that feeds in from the ocean is full of turtles, fish and manta rays . You can rent various water toys to enjoy in there. We rented 2 kayaks for an hour for 90 bucks. The pools are large and have slides etc perfect for families with kids. We never ate on the property but there are plenty of little strip malls a few min drive away with various options. Only con in that the parking is 48 a night so you end up with an astronomical bill after already spending a lot to be there in the first place. Also in 6 nights room service did not come once. I finally asked at one point when they would come because we were out of towels. They said the skipped us because our do not disturb sign was on but we removed it daily between 8-10 am once we were out and ready for the day. Had to call a second time for toilet paper. I feel like after spending thoughts being able to get room service would have been nice. All in all they were super nice when we called and brought us what we needed right away."

"We had a fantastic stay! The place was exceptionally clean, spotless, fresh, and very well maintained. Communication was excellent from start to finish friendly, prompt, and clear, which made everything so easy and stress-free. The accommodation had everything we needed, right down to dishwasher detergent, shampoo, and conditioner, which made our overnight stay so convenient and comfortable. It was clear that a lot of thought had gone into making guests feel welcome. Highly recommend staying here, and we would definitely book again!"

World-Class Hospitality Gene and Kriss are, hands down, the finest hosts we have ever encountered. Their hospitality is unmatched; they anticipate every need with genuine warmth and aloha. But they didn't just feel like accommodation hosts to us—over the course of our stay, they truly became friends. Sharing conversations and laughs with them honestly made our trip that much better. They are the heartbeat of this beautiful property. Spectacular Rooms & Stunning Grounds The property itself is an absolute dream. The grounds are meticulously landscaped, lush, and vibrant, perfectly capturing the tropical essence of Kona. Walking through the gardens feels like a peaceful escape. As for the accommodations, the rooms were spectacular—immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and designed for ultimate comfort and relaxation. Waking up here and watching the sunset in the evenings was pure magic. If you want breathtaking views, luxurious and comfortable rooms, and a level of hospitality that makes you feel like family, Mango Sunset B&B is the only choice. We left with beautiful memories and lifelong friends."

"This is an exceptional property, large, expansive and beautifully integrated into the landscape. The staff is exceptional and will impress you from the moment of your arrival. The rooms are nicely decorated in an authentic, local character. We only dined at one restaurant, ULU, and it was excellent. This experience was first class all the way."
