Fantastic location, just a literal skip over the train tracks and you’re on the beach! Everything was pristine in the room, very comfortable. Quick drive into town with tons of shopping and food options. The seal colony nearby was a highlight of our trip. Highly recommend the Alpine View for a lovely stay!

We arrived quite late and the staff had turned on the lights in our room and as it was cool theu had turned on the heat. Just so thoughtful.

Beach access is through the back gate of the Motel, which is fantastic for surf casting (good fishing spot), picnics, and walks on the beach. Walking distance to supermarket. Very clean, and well presented.

The unit was quiet, warm, clean, and roomy . There was everything we needed to enjoy a nights accommodation . Our host had already put the heater on before we arrived as the temperature had dropped .

The room quite big, clean and tidy. The only negative thing the room doesn't have an aircon but they provide a fan. We only stay for a nite, so not really a big deal. Other than that it was lovely to stay here.

Very quiet, peaceful Nice cozy rooms. Staff are very helpful and kind. We just stayed there overnight but overall I enjoyed it and would very happily make another visit.

Thoroughly loved my stay, unit was warm, comfy, had a fabulous shower and everything else i needed. Love the container for food scraps for the chooks and having beautiful complimentary fresh parsley growing just outside the door. Perfect accomodation for a family of 4 with young children. Modern interior, clean & warm adequate heating in winter. Staff were lovely and welcoming. Will definately stay again, loved the beach access and the view of the beautiful snow capped kaikoura mountain ranges

Nice location, beach access through back gate and a park for the littlies. Looking a bit tired, could do with a new bathroom and double glazing to stop all the condensation. Also the Sky TV wasn't set up properly, one channel had no sound. Channel numbers all over the show! Surrounding grounds were tidy and plenty of parking.

Older style motel but very clean and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. 2 bedroom room was very spacious and had a lounge and kitchen dining area. There is also private access to the beach which was nice. Great value for money and a lovely little hotel we would definitely use again.
