Perfect base for exploring Riga
A nice place to use as a base for exploring Riga. 12 minutes from the #22 bus stop (airport bus) and 10 minutes from the coach station if you fancy going further afield. Reception area was well presented with a warm welcome from the staff. Room was clean although could have done with a larger sized duvet. Buffet breakfast is served 7-10 during the week (8-11 weekends) with plenty to eat although some pastries would have been a welcome addition.

Good stay for a quick trip. Rooms are extremely basic and out dated but the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was just ok. 10 minute walk to old town.

Hanza is a great budget hotel near the central station in Riga. Rooms are clean and the staff and breakfast are fine. Only really two negative issues - The wifi isn't very reliable and keeps dipping in and out making it awkward if your in town on business. Also the television seemed to not be able to pick up channels correctly and was unwatchable. Maybe they were having issues with the signal because of the bad weather?
