Disappointing stay

Posted 29-Jan-2017
Pros: The courtyard.
Cons: Reception staff, room amenities, bathrooms.
We stayed in a room on the first floor, with the verandah overlooking the courtyard, which was very nice. However, that was the only nice thing about this hotel. Each afternoon the smell of sewerage filled the bathroom; some light switches didn't work; the hairdryer didn't work; very basic toiletries in the bathroom; the window overlooked a service well; the stairs to the first floor are just plain dangerous. The reception staff are extremely arrogant and rude. I felt like they believe to be professional you need to be cold and rude; an occasional smile would have been nice. The courtyard restaurant was lovely and the food we had was very good; although the breakfast is very basic. Overall, if you are absolutely stuck and have nowhere else to stay, you will survive a stay here; but I would avoid this hotel if at all possible.

Good property

Posted 16-Nov-2016
Pros: A lovely place to stay with family. Good location, good room and beautiful lawns and restaurant.
Cons: Room service is slow. Didn't like a wedding event in the lawn thereby inconveniencing the other guests.
Location: Good location close to Umaid Bhawan Palace as well city markets.

Nice property and well kept.

Posted 01-Oct-2016
Pros: Property and location.
Cons: Breakfast
Location: Shopping and good food at ON THE ROCKS resturant.
The overall experience was good except that the Breakfast they serve should have more variety and should include healthy food whereas the focus was more on fried stuff.

Fint hotel til prisen

Posted 17-Sep-2016 on Hotels

Posted 16-Mar-2014 on Hotels
Les chambres donnant sur le jardin sont agréables (celles de l'annexe donnant sur le parking sont très médiocres et sales). Jardin et piscine bien entretenus. Petits déjeuners pas à la hauteur de l'hôtel.

Careless management

Posted 30-Jan-2014
Pros: The location
Cons: Plenty. I think the management needs a change of heart.
Overall, a disappointing stay. The room [125] had a door bell which did not work. The bathroom door did not have a hook to hang clothes. The toilet paper was cheap; non-absorbent. The room did not have a socket to charge my mobile phone. [I had a two pin charger]. Finally located a socket in the bathroom - but the charger would foul with the switch! Result - the phone wont charge! The room had a "power saver" switch so that the customers could take the "key" and switch off the lights every-time they left the room. The switch was permanently kept ON! I can add few more points...but whats the point?
