"A great family holiday"
A great stay at this 3 star hotel. Daughter enjoyed the outdoor pool while son played in the tennis court. The stay was very comfortable. Extremely child friendly hotel and the staff went out of their way to help. Could do with a swing/slide for little kids. Meals in the hotel were very good, but come in smaller portions and are expensive. The toasters during breakfast need replacing!! Overall a good value for money and comfort.

"Basic Hotel"
This hotel is ideally located for exploring Jersey and close to town centre. Staff and food are excellent. Decor and facilities very dated. Room was spotlessly clean, with clean towels and bedding. We were in family room located in annexe of hotel and therefore close to traffic noise through dated Windows but we were so tired from days out that we slept well. Hotel is ideally situated for a walk into town, beach, cinema/leisure complex. It is also well situated for travelling around the island. Great secure car park, pool clean but dated, jacuzzi and gym a bit of a let down. Overall a good base. Unfortunately hotel couldn't accommodate us 2 extra nights when ferry was cancelled so we had to find a different hotel.

"Great hotel a little out of town."
The Monteray hotel although located a little out of town was easy to get to by bus or taxi. You could walk into the centre of St Helier if you are relatively fit. The hotel staff were efficient and friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was always great and plentiful. The swimming pools were fine and clean. Our room was clean and bright and had a very large bathroom.

"Nice hotel with good food."
The hotel was only 10 minutes walk from the front so easy to get around. Almost everywhere in the hotel was very clean except the breakfast tables were very sticky and obviousely only get a cursory wipe. The knowledge of the staff we found dissapointing. They smiled a lot but when I complained about running water outside my room which strangely started at 2am every morning, they looked unsure but said they would check it out which they didn't, consequently although the bed was very comfortable little sleep was had. The 2 course evening special menu is only on Friday and Saturday and was excellent. Pity they don't do this in the week but was truly 5 star! The room doesn't get serviced until all the new incoming guests rooms have been prepared, despite this you still can't access your room until 2pm. Our room was not serviced until 4pm which mean't when you come back you feel obliged to vacate the room again until later. I don't see why this cannot be organised the other way around! There is no fridge or mini bar in the room. Overall I can forgive a lot as the staff although not very well trained were pleasant and friendly.

"Peaceful and wonderful view of bay"
On our arrival we were welcomed and immediately upgraded to a room with a balcony. As we had been delayed due to bad weather, we were late arriving, however we were ushered into the dining room and served a delicious full breakfast whilst our luggage was taken to our room. Staff were all friendly and room comfortable, clean and nicely decorated.

"Brilliant hotel 10 mins from town centre"
I really cannot fault this hotel. We were lucky to be staying in one of their refurbished rooms, it wasn't too hot either like others have complained of so think we were lucky. The shower was lovely & the free wifi worked most of the time, only a couple of times I couldnt get connected. Its a little difficult to find your room at first as there are so many corridors & staircases (we dont use lifts). The buffet breakfast was spot on, so much choice from full English to cereals, pastries, toasts, cold meats & cheese, yogurt & fruits, really nice. We tried both restaurants Bonnetti's & The Belvedere, they were both nice but the Belvedere had fabulous choice. A little expensive though. The waterpark/swimming pool is across the road from the actual hotel. We spent many hours here, I couldn't get my daughter out! The waterslide doesnt run continually, they only opened it every half hour for 10 minutes but then the pool wasn't that busy. Also the lazy river didnt operate continually. Water temperature wasn't too bad although I felt cold after a while so went & sat in the jacuzzi which was like a bath. Hotel is approx 10 minute walk to town centre & slightly longer to the bus station. Would definitely return to this hotel.

"Warm and Friendly"
A really nice hotel close to the centre of St Helier. While the rooms were perhaps on the small side and some of the décor and furnishing looking a little tired, they were very clean and tidy and perfectly adequate. The shower, also small, was one of the best hotel showers I have found in a while. The included breakfast was excellent and while described as continental included a full hot selection and dinner in the restaurant was well presented and was of a high standard. However, the stand out feature was the warm welcome and general friendliness and helpfulness of staff throughout the hotel, it really does make a difference, we will certainly go back if we return to Jersey.

"Pleasant stay"
The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good but not keen on sharing a table with other guests. All amenities were fine. We would certainly return but only if there was accommodation in the rear of the hotel as the road noise was really awful with speedsters every night in the small hours and the double glazing (?) not effective.

Pocket Guide: Hotels with Pool Hotels in Jersey

Thanks to its beautiful, natural coastline and welcoming towns and villages, Jersey has become one of Europe's most desirable holiday destinations. Whether you're travelling with young kids or on a romantic getaway, this gem of an island has plenty to offer. Before you get out to explore, though, you might want to start the day with a dip in a pool at your hotel or guesthouse. One of the most popular facilities at hotels in Jersey for both business and leisure guests is a swimming pool, and fortunately the island has plenty to choose from.

    Affordable Pool Hotels

Opting for a hotel with a pool needn't break the bank. In fact, Jersey is packed with affordable hotels and guesthouses that have their own private pools. Talana Hotel is an excellent example of just how much you can get for your money on this fabulous island. The small hotel is just minutes from St. Helier and boasts a stunning outdoor pool, surrounded by sun loungers.

    Luxurious Hotels in Jersey

Jersey is popular among fans of luxury holidays. From five-star rural retreats to spa hotels on the coast, the largest of the Channel Islands has it all. Of course, when you're booking into a luxury hotel, you expect a pool. Fortunately, Jersey's top-end options don't disappoint.

L'Horizon Beach Hotel and Spa gives guests a spectacular location, right on the beach at St. Brelade. The exquisite indoor swimming pool is just one part of an impressive health club. Also on-site are a state of the art sauna and some tennis courts.

    Get Down the Beach

While some of Jersey's hotel pools may be enchanting, the island's beaches take some beating. The most popular swimming spots are on the south and west coasts. St. Ouen's Bay, in the west of Jersey, is popular with fans of water sports. Elsewhere, St. Brelade is great for more peaceful swimming, sunbathing and snorkelling.

Just because you're staying at the beach doesn't mean you have to forego the swimming pool, however. Many of the island's beach hotels also feature a pool. The Highlands Hotel offers guests the best of both worlds. The on-site heated pool is marvellous, and it's within easy reach of several peaceful and unspoiled coves for a spot of wild swimming!
