"Brilliant hotel 10 mins from town centre"
I really cannot fault this hotel. We were lucky to be staying in one of their refurbished rooms, it wasn't too hot either like others have complained of so think we were lucky. The shower was lovely & the free wifi worked most of the time, only a couple of times I couldnt get connected. Its a little difficult to find your room at first as there are so many corridors & staircases (we dont use lifts). The buffet breakfast was spot on, so much choice from full English to cereals, pastries, toasts, cold meats & cheese, yogurt & fruits, really nice. We tried both restaurants Bonnetti's & The Belvedere, they were both nice but the Belvedere had fabulous choice. A little expensive though. The waterpark/swimming pool is across the road from the actual hotel. We spent many hours here, I couldn't get my daughter out! The waterslide doesnt run continually, they only opened it every half hour for 10 minutes but then the pool wasn't that busy. Also the lazy river didnt operate continually. Water temperature wasn't too bad although I felt cold after a while so went & sat in the jacuzzi which was like a bath. Hotel is approx 10 minute walk to town centre & slightly longer to the bus station. Would definitely return to this hotel.

"Nice hotel near the centre of St.Helier."
Hotel clean and welcoming. Staff very friendly. Rooms clean adequately furnished. No air conditioning! Bathing facilities ok but shower didn't work and bath pressure none existent at peak times. Manager apologised but said it was a building problem. Restaurant was bright and spacious. The staff were excellent and the food fine for the price. There is a pool and sunbeds although we didn't use them, lots of guests did. Excellent value for a two star.

"Very friendly hotel"
What was most pleasing was the friendly and helpful staff. The hotel is located at the St.Helier end of Greve d'Azzette bay on the main coast road. Our view of the sea was blocked by the White Horse Inn across the road. It is a 20 minute walk to the town centre or harbour. Breakfast was self service apart from the cooked breakfast which was served promptly on order. We didn't try the pool but it looked good. The decor in reception and dining areas is fresh and welcoming. The room was comfortable and clean but there was some traffic noise when the windows were open. Taxi to the airport was just under £20. The shuttle bus is £14 but it picks up at a number of places so will be slower. Overall good value compared to other hotels in the area.

Pocket Guide: Bed and Breakfast Hotels in Jersey

Leave the southern coast of England setting sail for St. Malo and you'll soon meet the idyllic Channel Islands. The largest of the islands, Jersey, is a thriving holiday destination. Home to a varied collection of pristine beaches, fascinating attractions and welcoming towns, it's easy to understand the island's reputation as one of Europe's premier tourism spots. As the island attracts so many people each year, it's fitting that it's so well served by accommodation. To make the most of this special island, a good number of visitors choose to stay in one of its many B&Bs.

A Quiet Retreat in a Vibrant Town

Jersey may be relatively small, but that doesn't mean it's starved of activity. The main town of St. Helier is a vibrant and cosmopolitan place that has a buzz about it all year round. In the afternoons there are plenty of independent boutique shops to browse, and when the sun goes down visitors have their pick of some of the finest bars and restaurants in all of Europe.

With so much going on in St. Helier, it can be nice to have somewhere to go to get away from it all. The town's bed and breakfasts, like the Norfolk Hotel, offer guests a tranquil retreat from the bustling streets.

    Outstanding Service

One of the things that guests at B&Bs enjoy is a superior level of service. With owners typically on hand to cater for guests' needs, there's little left to do but sit back and relax. Having the owners around the help you out can be of particular use when the time comes to plan an itinerary. With intimate local knowledge of sights and attractions at your disposal, you're in safe hands.

    Explore the Island

Jersey is an incredibly diverse island, packing all manner of landscapes. With a bed for the night and your morning meal taken care of, you're left with the flexibility you need to get out and explore.

With the island measuring just nine miles by five, adventurous visitors can see much of it by foot in one visit. Alternatively, it could be worth looking for B&Bs and hotels in Jersey which offer convenient parking for your hire car, which can be picked up from the airport.
