Lots of things add up
Stay was for 5 nights over Easter.
Few things to note:
I asked for another bed - I was given a room with an extra double bed in it - perfect. No mention of me being billed - came home and found an additional 99$ billed on my card.
Shuttle to city is cheap at 3$ per trip, every 10 mins or so, 24/7 - only issue is, add people to your trip and make that 2-ways, and you start to see that even though it can be more expensive in town, you might save money as you can get a subway/bus pass for 32$ a week, so consider that.
Breakfast - no tables in kitchenette and ends 9am, so SOL if you get in after that.
My room smelled of a wet dog.
The sheets - the blanket was the duvet liner with NOTHING inside of it - very chilly.
It is ANYTHING but soundproof.
So, tho exceptionally good on price, if you are visiting NYC, stay in the city - your costs will add-up
Surprisingly safe area at night-time - though it sure doesn't seem that way
Good bit is people are very friendly - can't fault them for that.
