"The McClellan Inn Anniston is an example of hard work done by the couple that operate, and likely own, the establishment. The buildings are slightly aged, probably built in the 1970's but refurbished within the rooms. The rooms are basic, but comfortable. The heat/air units are very proficient. The beds are very comfortable. Each room has a microwave, small refrigerator (very good for cooling canned and bottled drinks) nice flat screen television with cable, ample drawer space, a desk, small couch and table, coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hair dryer and very well-lighted sink and mirror area. The bathroom, while small, is very impressive with a very nice walk-in shower. The service is more than adequate, cleaning service is good and the area is functional, especially if there on business. The establishment is within a quarter mile of several eateries, a large WalMart, an Aldi's, and is not excessively traffic burdened. Very suburban feel. Friendly, basic service by staff. Highly recommend for basic lodging needs. "

"Incredible cabin and overall experience! From the homegrown veggies and freshly-picked flowers waiting for us when we got there, to the serenely peaceful environment and proximity to the talladega national forest…I can’t overstate how wonderful our stay was. Cooking over the campfire every night with the stars above us and barely any light pollution was something I could get used to. Lounging in the hammock under the shade tree during the day with the light breeze was like heaven on earth. Truly a pastoral paradise. The mix of open rolling hills with the mountain view in the distance and forest all around you is perfection. It conjures a feeling of expansive freedom but also protective seclusion all at the same time. A perfect place for a solo retreat or for couples to get away from the noise of everyday life. And you can’t beat the check-in and out times! Jerry was probably the best host I have ever interacted with. Super accommodating and responsive. I can’t recommend this place enough!"

"First trip I planned and hosted, bringing my siblings and kid. This house made it well worth the drive, and the access to all the swimming holes etc around was a plus. I highly suggest getting this place and trying it out. I didn't want to leave, but definitely will be back! "
