Would stay again.

Pros: We enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs with a view and the seating area with windows. Also enjoyed Cassios restaurant, excellent tiramisu.
Cons: I could smell faint cigarette smoke from years gone by, should dissipate in time, I've got a good sense of smell. Wouldn't stop me from staying again
Location: Right downtown so easy to walk to shops & restaurants. O'Shea's next door in the Athabasca hotel has a great breakfast.
We stayed for one night. Liked the location as it is right downtown. Had a nice view of the mountains and could watch the trains. Traffic was a little noisy so take earplugs if noise bothers you and you get a room facing the road. (I requested it to get the view so I was aware it wasn't the quiet side)

Great location, nice clean room

Posted 15-Jan-2016
My boyfriend and I went for a snowboardig weekend and stayed here and booked a room with 1 queen bed and some living space, but when we checked in we were in a room with 2 queens and not much extra room; not a big deal, and the gentleman who checked us in was lovely! When I went to bring my snowboard (packed in a travel bag) up to the room, though, I was stopped on the stairs and told to keep it in the "ski locker" which is located outside in the parking lot behind a bar... Not my favorite place to store my gear, obviously, and I would have felt safer leaving it in the car, honestly. It was explained to me that "some people have waxed their boards on the beds," which I don't doubt could be true, but then that's why you took my credit card as security for damages, isn't it? The other issue is that I got quite chilled after a day on the mountain, but when I went to adjust the heat we saw the sign on the AC unit that informed us that the heat is actually turned off during the months of November through April; no heat control during winter... That definitely struck me as odd, and I was quite uncomfortable for a while, but overall we had a great weekend. I wouldn't say the place stood out as one of the greats.

Right in the middle of town

Nice hotel and comfortable/nice looking rooms, except we had a no smoking room and as soon as we walked in we were bombarded with a strong smell of weed covered up with axe spray. I couldn't stay in there for long periods of time without getting a headache.

Hotel central to everything

Posted 01-Jan-2016
The experience of the hotel I had was generally good. The staff was really friendly however the hotel definitely shows its age. Could use some upgrading in the future for sure. With that being said I don't feel like the cost of the hotel stay matched to the conditional state that the hotel was in.

Convenient location with great amenities!

Handy place to stay. Everything you need is there or next door. Only issue is parking. Not a whole lot of spaces.

Nice hotel for a quick stop over.

Great hot tub, clean room amd nice staff. Room was a bit on the small side for 3 adults but we made it work. The room was super hot most of the night, I'm not sure if the thermometer in the room really worked.

Pros and Cons

Posted 04-Dec-2015
Pros: Pros: clean room, friendly staff, very close to shopping and restaurants, good price.
Cons: more insulation and sound proofing
Location: It is on the main street for shopping in Jasper and there are excellent restaurants within a 1 block radius.
Pros: clean room, friendly staff, very close to shopping and restaurants, good price. Cons: there seemed to be minimal insulation in the walls as I could clearly hear drunk conversations in the halls at 1 am, and conversations outside our window in the alley. It seems to be a place for young 20-something partiers so I would avoid the busy seasons (winter and summer) unless you want to party too.
