Pros: -Great breakfast with multiple options like quiche/egg dishes that were actually good, yogurt, granola, fresh fruit, etc. And good coffee and tea available almost all day! -Helpful staff -Cozy feel with some friendly guests - felt like a place where you can sit and get to know other guests and feel at home, which was really nice -Good happy hour daily with wine and good snacks (which almost never happens) - cheese, crackers, fresh fruit, veggies, nuts, etc. and coffee -Great room with a true ocean view. Just outside our door was a big shared balcony we sat on daily to enjoy happy hour and stare at a huge stretch of the main beach -A mini fridge with plenty of free water -nice clean room and bathroom -Walkable. We walked to the beach, pier, boardwalk, downtown and the lighthouse. Less than a mile to everything Cons: -Our fireplace didn’t work, which was a big bummer because it was cold some nights and would have been really cozy, romantic and nice in our little room -No AC. We were okay without as long as we kept windows open at night, but it was still a tad warm -Breakfast doesn’t start till 8:30, so if you need to leave early for something, you’ll miss it -We put the do not disturb sign every day and every day housekeeping came in anyway

Dirty reception area... Overpowering, eyewatering smell of bleach in the room to conceal the smell of urine or worse'. Old downstairs room facing carpark, with a glass door, just a curtain for privacy, which darkened the room even further... Scuffed, dirty threshold & baseboards for the price (without breakfast included) was ridiculous. The homeless man outside convinced us not to go out to eat at the nice restaurant that we had booked but to go home...So disappointing.
