The location is scenic and superb. The views are terrific of both the harbour and the city. There are many attractions and shopping nearby. Very walkable.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and room was comfortable (yet dated). But overall the hotel is very nice. One of the reasons I booked this hotel and paid more to stay here was for the pool, which ended up being closed during our stay. They did let me know about this in advance, which I appreciated, but they only gave one $20 voucher to apply towards dining as consolation....which isn't enough for my family of 5. It only bought 2 coffees and a few pastries. The pool is something we would have used daily. Free parking would have been nice for this inconvenience.

Right beside Parliament, across from the harbour, easy walk to many activities and shopping. Clean, quiet, and good service. Room was dated (interior design wise) but was clean, had a balcony, and was comfortable. Would book again.

Hotel was perfect. We had transportation, restaurants and pubs nearby. Rooms were clean and staff was welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast at their restaurant was delicious. Overall wonderful experience.

A fine hotel, but certain obvious details are overlooked. For example, directly above my bed was a bright green light from the smoke detector. Trying to sleep with a bright green eye shining at you is difficult. Why was it placed there?? The elevator next to my suite was incredibly loud, there was likely no sound insulation. Maybe just issues with this particular room, but it led to a very poor sleep.

Dear David,I am sorry for the smoke detector light over the bed. This affects some of our rooms but certainly not all of them. They will be moved when we renovate the West Tower rooms, hopefully next year. Should you choose to stay with us again, please identify this issue and being too close to the elevator and we will arrange a more suitable room for you.
