Didn't care for the lighting in the room and it needed more than one chair. Elevator was out of order and we had to carry our luggage up and down the stairs.

The rooms has trash left on the floor in room 215 and dirty wash rags left in the restroom in room 208 l. Room 215 has a terrible moldy stale water smell the entire time. The sheets in room 208 has stains on the pillow cases and in room 215 there were stains on the sheets on the bed close to the window completely disgusting! And the pillows were not pillows at all they were like sacks with a little bit of stuffing and when we asked for more they had none. I am pissed and completely disgusted with this hotel

The staff was so very personable and friendly. They found out our trip was to be with family as one of our loved ones was passing away and they all made it a point to check on us every time they saw us.

This hotel smelled like mildew so bad. The moment you got off the elevator on the second floor that's all we smelled. Our room was terrible. I didn't ask to swap rooms because in my experience it didn't make a difference. I let the front desk know, I would caution you to stay somebody else until they address this issue

The first two mornings the water was luke warm at best, while taking a shower. They said it should be taken care of next week. Our room was comfortable, but musty smelling, as with any older hotel. Returning to our room after a very long day. Our key card was declined. Went downstairs to service desk and was issued a new one. If you're a breakfast lover, I wouldn't recommend eating here. Not much for a hot breakfast. Turkey links and overcooked eggs was all we could get, for a hot breakfast.

Air conditioner cooled the room well. The bed was comfortable, the curtains kept outside light from entering the room. Traffic slowed and quieted outside as the night progressed. The pillows were flat and uncomfortable, only one type (feather?) was on the bed. The door to the room had a large gap at the bottom which flooded the otherwise dark room with light from the hall all night long. The rug looked like it needed a good steam cleaning.

The bedside light in the first room was burned out and instead of changing the bulb, they moved us to another room. The bathroom sink didn't drain properly and the sink stayed full of water for several minutes. The elevator was out on the last day, and we were on the third floor. Back and forth for coffee, leaving with luggage and a dog was a little inconvenient.

Best staff and hotel stay EVER!!!
Everything was perfect from my check-in until I checked out I ended up staying an extra night. Every single staff member was super nice cool down to earth and helpful in every respect I was traveling with a small dog and a disabled man. The accommodations were very comfortable, the room in bed were adequate the AC was cold the only thing I didn't like was no place to hang a towel in the bathroom or the bathroom at all. But honestly this was a great place to stay I will definitely be back. the property and grounds were up to kept well and they looked nice and it was clean the breakfast was fantastic everybody there went above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed and I appreciate it everyone there there was too many in the staff to mention but everyone was super thank you so much la Quinta in Jacksonville for the warm hospitable family feeling you bring to this home away from home. I rate 100 stars out of 5. LOL
