Paid for the room. Wouldn’t allow spouse to check in without payment, even though it was paid. Thinking the room wasn’t paid for, spouse gave them her card. I spoke with her later and explained the room was paid for when booked. She showed the front desk the receipt and they said they would reimburse. They did so, but then, the next day, they charged our card again. I called them, and the front desk clerk said the charge was for the rest of the payment, which is inaccurate. I asked for the contact info for the manager, but she would not provide a phone number. Then she hung up on me! When I called back, she hung up on me again! We have kids in this area and go to visit often. Hampton Inn just lost our business for all future trips.
