"We got in without any issues. We were about 20-30 minutes to Crater Lake. There isn’t much in the area. But we were there for the hiking and was looking for location as our first choice. There is a convenience store down the street. It’s attached to a Motel. We didn’t go in, they opened at noon. The beds are comfortable. We could have used a night stand in the room with the twin beds. We anticipated bringing food with us so we stopped to purchase food on our way. The stove and microwave worked fine.There was a note that the water was hard and to use the filtered water provided. Which was appreciated.The Fridge and bathroom are a step down from the kitchen. This is on the other side of the house from the bedrooms. We ended up leaving on a light over the sink and inside the bath. The bathroom also has a step up to the sink/toilet. We learned fast to be careful! I moved the rug so that it ran across the top of the step to give us more of a visual. The host Mary Anne was prompt in responses. We didn’t have cell coverage so the majority of our cell phone usage was either at the lodge or the house rental. So our communication was when we had WiFi. There was some minor stuff that I mentioned to her to deal with after we left."

"This was a quiet, peaceful place to stay with a friendly host who pays a lot of attention to keeping the kitchen well stocked with coffee, tea, oatmeal and pancakes for breakfast. A welcome surprise was the excellent internet connection. If your looking for a place in Chiloquin I would recommend Pennie's in the Pines, aptly named due to the many large Ponderosa pines on the property. Excellent outdoor space and nice grill."

"We had a great stay. It was a short drive to the Crater Lake park entrance. The location was perfect for our park visit. The unit is roomy and quiet. One of the best equipped kitchens we have had a many, many short term rentals."

"Cute little cabin on a creek and a cow farm. Beds were nice and warm. Easy parking, entry and kind hosts. We didn’t need anything, because the directions were clear and complete. Thanks for a great stay!"

"Beautiful setting near Crater Lake - surrounded by pastures and a long view into the mountain range. Very quaint and comfy - plenty of room and everything we needed plus some extra touches made it the perfect place to stay. Terri communicated well and clearly, and I would surely come back."
