I had different experiences in 2 rooms. First off, all the desk clerks & staff (except the breakfast waiter!) were extremely friendly & helpful. The 1st nite of a 5-nite stay was terribly disappointing. The king bed room on the ground floor smelled musty (maybe because the "garden" is just dirt), the bed and pillows were hard, the shower had no hot water & very little water pressure, the room was lit only with fluorescents, and the pull-down shades had a big gap in the middle. Didn't sleep well at all! The next day I requested a room change so my daughter could stay with me and was pleased with the switch to a main level room. (They didn't charge ne for the upgrade.) It was much more inviting, the queen beds were comfortable & it had hot water! The open air lobby, pool area and restaurant views were lovely, but the
website listing is deceiving. There is NO internet access in the rooms, NO bar or lounge, and NO access to food or drink after breakfast ends at noon, and no map of the area. The breakfast waiter had a horrible attitude, almost angry demeanor and he was ungracious & unreceptive. It's an extremely limited menu selection & very poor quality food.
It's a short drive to the main road but the room price was great for that expensive area.
