We loved our stay here! Was a great stop while visiting Rovinj. Loved being able to swim in the pool and sit by the beach and watch the sunset. We had plenty of room for two and we were sad we only booked one night!

I booked the room through Hotels.com with breakfast included. When we checked in, they said we had to pay 15 Euro each. I complained to manager with no avail. He offered me two postcards as a token of their sympathy, but no free breakfast. I feel cheated.
The place is far from the center of Rovinj. Had we got our breakfast included, I would taye the place higher.

Excellent!
Brilliant stay at the Amarin. Two adults and two teens, there was heaps to do and keep us all occupied. Evening entertainment was good, bar prices reasonable.
Housekeeping was regular, with towels and sheets being changed every other day.

Good resort. Okay location. Lots of walking needed
Good place to stay! The apartment was clean and comfortable (except that the AC wasn't working well and a giant centipede fell on me while I was getting ready, but otherwise it was great!). Room was big as well, so it was easy to feel at home. The resort itself had a lot going on, and the staff were great. My only issue is that the resort is HUGE, and it was very hard to find my way around. I felt like I was always walking uphill and always in the wrong direction. It's also about 15 minutes out of the city.

Horrible. The staff gave us the wrong room number on the map compared to the key. When we finally opened the door the bed only had a sub-sheet on it which was soaked in blood in a wadded up pile. Made me sick to look at it. Went back and showed staff he wrote down the wrong room number compared to the key number. He gave me a new pair of keys and threw them on the counter. Never even apologized. Many spiders were in the room which kept my wife up all night in fear. Worst place ever. No soap or shampoo anywhere.

Property is located near the Adriatic sea and we got a 2 bedroom apartment in 2 level home with 2 large terraces. Both bedrooms and living room was quite good, just bathroom could be a bit larger and especially shower cabin that is very small and inconvenient. As well accommodation owners should think about improvement of cleanness, as during our 5 nights stay it was cleaned just once after calling to the reception. Just floors have been cleaned, but no beds changed or made-up.
The big advantage of this accommodation is private beach and few pools with the view to the sea and Rovinj.

Unique property geared towards family. My 3 kids 10 and twin 16 years enjoyed the pools, water activities, breakfast. The pool area needs to be addressed since it was very slippery (we all fell). The rooms were basic but clean, good AC, showers and deck. It was next to or part of a camp ground which was filled with families. Just a short ride to Rovinj. Would stay here again next time for a couple days. Loved Rovinj!

This property is stunning and absolutely beautiful!! Downsides are terrible beds, I couldn’t sleep for two nights. Also the extra charges I was unprepared for like the rental of lawn chairs and umbrellas. Would have been nice to have the option to pay for those upfront in the cost of my stay. Also, the days I was only at the pool for 2 hours in the afternoon I would have loved to not have to rent the chairs for the entire day.

We rode our bicycles all day to get there and the staff must have seen our level of distress. They upgraded us without being asked. So generous and thoughtful of them. The views from our balcony were stupendous. The complex was quiet and lovely. We hated to leave and would consider spending an extended time at this terrific little gem of a resort I've included a pic of the view from our patio.

Good location - close to Rovinj (reachable by water taxi in 15 mins) & the resort offers lots of excursions / water sports / activities etc.
Apartments very spacious & larger than expected.
Restaurants were ok - however, extremely limited choice for vegetarians. Staff generally good, but couldn't provide that much info about activities on offer which is a shame! Expected slightly more luxury in the room for a 4 star accommodation.

We had a very nice stay with an excellent dinner served by two lovely women, one of them was called liliana. Breakfast buffet was very good and abundant. We were 2 couples who rented 1 apartment each. They were ok for the price. I think the place is great for families. Lots of things to do. Right on the beach with several pools. Also good for a younger crowd. It’s a bit run down. It’s located outside Rovinj and you can take a nice boat ride across. Overall we had a very nice stay.

Friendly Hotel- Long Check-in and Check-out waits.
Not enough staff to handle long lines checking in and out. There were 2or 3 staff at counters working on checking in, and several more wandering behind counters that could have been used to expedite customer check in process.

Parking near the room was impossible, so had to carry suitcases for about 590 meters. Room was very nice. Restaurant waitress Lillijana was outstanding.

The particular room we stayed in was nice. It had everything you needed. In my personal opinion, the rooms could use some cosmetic updates, but seeing as where you are, you spend most time outside anyways - and it is a beautiful beach front location. There were many teens and kids hanging out (I think they put on summer camps for them) so it was nice to see everyone out and active. The breakfast was spectacular! It was truly one of the best breakfast buffets I’ve ever had staying at a resort. Do take the ferry boat to the mainland of Rovinj as well, just make sure you take a look at the schedule. One last thing, the sunrise and set set is absolutely stunning.

Resort Amarin and Rovinj were a great introduction to Croatia. The facilities were excellent and breakfast amazing. We were late season, so almost no campers and few residents. It may be different in summer. We rented mountain bikes, they were delivered to the property, and picked up from our car rental after a beautiful and fun 4-5 hour ride through the city, and along the coastal park.

We spent three weeks in Various lodging through Croatia and Venice, Amarin was at the top. Very clean ,quite and roomy. Excellent facilities. The buffet was exceptional with some of the best coffee we had in Europe.
This location good for family or not. We were childless and very much enjoyed it. We also stated in the center of town our last few nights in a very nice , very well located apartment but wished we had stayed at The Amarin in hind sight .

Be careful when booking at this resort. If you are a family of four, and are lucky enough to get into one of the new buildings you will be happy with your stay, as seen by some of the reviews that we read prior to booking. If you are only two, you will be put in a building that was built maybe in the 1960's. The room comes with old mis-aligned cupboards, cracked ugly furniture, chipped and mildewy bathroom tiles and an exposed kitchen exhaust duct. The room was awful! This is not a 4 star hotel. It would be generous to give it 3 stars. Also- don't believe the free internet. Internet service didn't work at all in our room. We were told at checkout that coverage on the resort is generally poor. All on all, This was not a pleasant experience!!

Stayed here after a week of travel through Croatia and really appreciated the relaxing resort feel. We spent a day chilling between the pool and beach which offered views of Rovinj's old town. Just what the doctor ordered. The room really set the tone as it was spacious, newer and included a large patio.

Resort Amarin was a very pleasant place to stay. The unit was modern, spacious and clean. The walk to the beach and hotel bar and restaurant was short. The hotel breakfast buffet was fabulous. The resort is a couple of miles away from the Rovinj center, so you have to take a bus or boat to go to town. One thing we noticed about all the Croatian beach resorts is that they don't provide beach towels to guests - so either bring your towel or count on buying one in Croatia
The resort was beautiful, at first I thought it was too far away from town, but there's a ferry that goes over every hour for 25 kn.. Or a taxi is about 90 kn... Everything you need is at the resort, restaurants, lovely pools, beach, staff all friendly, views to old town are lovely.
