The room was nice however there was a strange smell of old people. It reminded me of the smell of my grandparents. The walls are very thin and I could easily hear the guests from the rooms next to me speaking, coughing, and snoring.

Excellent Service in an Upscale Neighbourhood
The service at this hotel is superb. From the security downstairs all the way to the managers. The little touches are what make the difference in showing how they care - like drinks on check in and check out, and having fresh flowers in the reception area. Rooms are nice enough, I would have liked a tub in the shower but I understand space is a challenge. Toiletries are nice. Mini bar is well stocked. I missed having an outdoor area to enjoy the view. The hotel is on a street with high-end shopping and there's a mall nearby. There's also a large beautiful park nearby. It's a bit of a walk to the Bosphorus but we did it slowly since we don't mind walking.

This is my second time at the Stay. I love the location, friendly staff and low key luxury. It’s truly a boutique hotel-so don’t expect a big flashy lobby or lots of amenities- but so much attention to detail and great service. I was traveling alone for a medical procedure and I felt very cared for and pampered. The housekeeping team did a wonderful job everyday- special thanks to Nour, Hatijah and their supervisor Tuna. The doormen are all so friendly and helpful often noticing me approach with heavy bags and running to help or offer to deliver to my room so I could keep going. The location is perfect because you are in a very clean, safe and walkable neighborhood with tons of boutiques, cafes and restaurants but still only a short taxi ride to the important sights (visited the Basilica cisterns for the first time and highly recommend). I was lucky it was a holiday so traffic was light. From the Stay I walked 30 minutes to Taxim and then another 30 down Istiklali St to Galata Tower and then the Pera district with great views of the Bosphorus. I loved my room with street view and small balcony but if you are a light sleeper, a back facing room might be quieter. Great city, great people, great hotel. Hope to be back!

Staff is amazing all of them. Location is specially great for high end designers. Room is large and comfortable. Property lacks a bartender, they do have some wines and spirits, but not A full bar, property is in Istanbul so it is a bit old but maintained acceptable (would benefit from a renovation) . Rooms have carpet floors, not wood or stone, that I didn’t like at all.

We always stay at the Stay! It’s location is perfect and very cosy hotel I feel I’m coming to my home with a super friendly staff!

It’s outdated, needs a refurbishing of the rooms. The rooms could fit a king size bed easily and 30 inch tv could be bigger… Overrated.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the location was very good, in the junior suite where I stayed the location of the wardrobe and safe was very difficult to use and I didn’t receive an upgrade
