The location is good. I booked the hotel with a discount price but the original value was not near the low quality of service I received. ok welcoming and good answering at the reception. one of the two rooms that we accommodated, smelled damp and was too small. They refused to change it.

Well ,firstly I booked along with my sister for my nephew 18 th birthday treat ,I did mention and asked the staff to prepare a cake and birthday wish card ,but unfortunately the staff done nothing ,moreover when I arrived the I was not greet but demand money for a taxi fare which I was not provided,I booked through hotel for 60 euro,and when I come out of airport I have not find anyone waiting as promised it was awful experience to be angry and demanding money from me for service they not provided ,staff so rude and not welcoming at all. They give me sister the damp room with broken ceiling and smelly room ,and I asked them politely I was even willing to pay more to move her different room,but they told me the hotel is fully booked and they can not do it and not willing to do it !!!! My room was better ,on second floor ,but I was very sad for my sister and her son who came to celebrate to this hotel his 18 th birthday!!! Very disappointed,very I would not recommend this hotel at all ,along this the area is awful ,surrounded with buildings site building ,awful view too . I am very sad about the service I receive and unfriendly staff at all !!!! My sister and me we was very sad the fact it is 4 star hotel but service and staff rate 1 star . In my sister room was rusty tap ,damp ceiling on lower ground floor room,smelly of damp ,unhealthy ,and damaging for health ,unsafe for health and safety too. Breakfast was ok ,nice view In my room was missing toilet paper.

Dear OlgaOur staff prepared a birthday cake for you at the restaurant, but we could not reach you that day and unfortunately we could not celebrate because you were outside. We are sorry about that.You requested an airport transfer. Although our driver was waiting for you at the airport exit gate and tried to reach you via whatsapp, unfortunately you could not meet with our driver. We told you that if anything goes wrong, you have to call the hotel from information desk at the airport, but you came to the hotel by another vehicle without calling. And we had to pay out of our own pocket for the driver waiting for you at the airport.Your room was upstairs because you made it yourself from hotels.com. but sister stayed -1. floor because your sister made a reservation for the basement via acanta for economy basement room. We had to stay on the basementfloor and unfortunately we couldn't get to the top floor because it was a busy season.

Bon design mess!
The luxury description is fake as the exterior picture are from a close by hotel and all the inside amenities are just trashy. The room was to be located on the ground floor and it was in the basement. Pictures will speak more than words. Broken things, the premium bedding covers are just ripped off. The breakfast area is very dirty and the entry rug is filthy.

Horrible, sucio y pequeño
La habitación es super pequeña , el baño apestaba a pipi, las toallas rotas , o sea ya esto fue el colmo! El chico de la recepción fue amable a la llegada y atencioso pero realmente lamentable este hotel. Me alegro de haber conseguido una oferta de ultimo minuto porque si llego a pagar el precio que aparecia a principio hecho los mil demonios!

The room was clean and the services provided were adequate enough, with the housekeeping doing a good job of cleaning up well each day. The location of the hotel was perfect though, being only a 5 min walk from the Sultan Ahmet square, and a 5 min walk to Gulhane Park and the tram stop. However, the biggest let down was the breakfast, which was really bad. Go for this place for the ideal location.

Lovely people, sincere and genuine. They advertised for a City View room, for which I pai extra. There was no city views. I think the views are only for the top floor terrace apartments. However, overall they were fantastic and I was happy with the service.

Worst service you can get
I reserved my room and paid online (Superior Double Room), and during my check in they informed me that they have only one room in the basement and no other available room at the time, even they confirmed that they have recived my email requesting them to have the room i booked ready as i will check in around 23:00 pm but they did not, after long discussion and hotels.com got involved they promised to have my room ready next day morning, once i checked into my room the water starts fowling from the roof from the lights holes, i got in touch with reception and they tried to stop the water but with no luck, thien they informed that that they can not do anything until next morning and i have to stay in the same room . i told them how to any one sleep in a room full with water and electricity shock my happens at any time and have the room in fire, but their answer (we can not do any thing and we can not send you to any other hotel nearby even if its our fault and if you want you can spend the night at the reception sofa, thin i contacted it and they forced the hotel to cancel my booking and i received full refund.

Great hotel,friendly staff,clean bright rooms and an amazing roof top restaurant with views over Istanbul from the Aya Sophia and Blue mosque to the bridges over the Bospherous. Lovely breakfast,the food overall is a very high standard and good value. We found this a good central base as most of the atractions can be reached by walking ,but also close to tram stops and a good hotel taxi service if needed. We have returned to Istanbul many times but this is now a favourite Hotel as it has great facilities and all the staff made our stay very memorable

Bathroom troubles.
Not good. Price is for location only, not the room. Room and breakfast look nothing like the picture. Stayed for 2 nights with my brother. Hotel amenities include miniature shampoo and shower gel and literally paper-thin slippers. Breakfast is basic and has tea/coffee and boxed juices, bread, preserves, cheeses and cold meat cuts with a few other limited options. Bathroom light did not work, was not fixed after requested maintenance. Was brought a portable light for the night. Bathroom door jams in closed position and handle broke off and cut me when I tried to open it. I would have been stuck in there if my brother was not in the room. Bathroom has black mold on ceiling and edges of shower. Would not recommend.

We have bathroom set which contains shampoo ,shower jel ,hand soap , shower soap,and slippers etc. Their size is standart size which all the hotels are using , and we change it daily , or when you need to You informed us about bathroom light late time at night , and we fixed it quickly what we can do in this time When you go to Kapadokya we spoke a lot , and you never complained about nothing , just we had fun. In that case that rewiev made me surprise. Finally during your staying your brother and you were always smiling and kind to us thank you for this. We will try to improve us about what you wrote , and want to see you in future again in our lovely hotel. Kindest Regards

We've arrived at this hotel after a long and tiring flight to find out it's been closed for 3 months for construction. Stranded in Istanbul where English spoken is not common, we struggled painfully to find accommodation. We've made a request to ca.hotels.com for a total refund and a compensation for all yhe difficulties encountered but haven't heard from them since! Well, we move on and deal with this issue later while adjusting our plans. However, a feeling of being cheated and served unprofessionally stills troubles us by both the Bon Hotel and mostly by the ca.hotels.com.

Good Location in the heart of old city.
Although our experience didn't go as expected as we were put into a different room because our room wasn't ready (apparently the fault of expedia), the manager tried to be accommodating and at times helpful. We were surprised there wasn't an iron in every room and had to wait until one became available. As for cleanliness, we found hair on our pillow cases. Breakfast was very basic. Besides all of that, the overall the stay was good and had a good nights sleep after a long day of exploring the gems of Istanbul.

Bon hotel
Great staff, good hotel, however a little tired and the rooms are small. The bathroom is great, breakfast is basic, however very close to all tourist attractions.

Good beachfront hotel
Nice clean hotel... Room was very small... The breakfast was on the weak side, but ok for the price. The room was surprisingly quiet considering all clubs, resto and lounge blasting music... I would return...

Perfect location! Great Staff!
I can't say enough wonderful things about this hotel--the staff was friendly, and helpful; breakfast was great and an assortment of hot and cold foods;the location can't be beat; it's a block and a half away from the Hagia Sofia and the Basilica Cistern as well as within walking distance of the Grand Bazaar and the Spice Market. There are many highly rated restaurants nearby. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Istanbul. The prices were very reasonable.
