Excellent location and great staff. TV channels for kids was a bit of a disappointment but I except that to be the case for all these boutique hotels in Istanbul.

Location: Wie gesagt: perfekte Lage bei Topkapi, Hagia Sophia und Blauer Moschee. Zu Fuß vieles gut erreichbar.
Wurden upgegradet, da Zimmer frei war. Lage perfekt gleich bei Topkapi, Hagia Sophia und Blauer Moschee. Personal sehr freundlich.

We will stay again!

Posted 31-Aug-2015
Pros: The quality of the rooms and the very friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Can't think of anything!
Location: Right in the heart of Sultanahmet and a stroll to the Sea of Marmara. Couldn't ask for a better location!
Wonderful hotel from which to enjoy a wonderful city.

Nice hotel in a historic neighborhood

Posted 16-Aug-2015
Pros: Location and the staff. The hotel was within walking distance to many attractions. Despite being on a busy street, noise level was tolerable.
Cons: The whole bathroom scene needs a complete overhaul. The bath towels and toiletries were typical of a 1-star hotel and not a supposed 5-star hotel.
Location: One could easily walk to all the major attractions and also go for a morning walk or run by the water front. Plenty of restaurants to choose from.
The overall experience was quite good. However, I must question Expedia's rating (class) of this hotel as being 5 stars. The price does put it in that category, but, I should ask Expedia to physically examine the hotel before blindly providing a hotel class. I personally would tag this hotel a 3.5-stars. Btw, the Four Seasons which is in the same neighborhood, is rated 5 stars too. Again, for the price I paid, I expect a lot more. The room size, the room decor, the room condition, were all way below a 4-star standard. The bathroom, fixtures and all, were at best a 3-star hotel standard. The towels were the type one would expect in a 1-star motel - thread bare and flimsy. The cutlery was all good quality, though one could find chip'ed porcelain cups, saucers and plates in the cafe/breakfast area. Again, not something I would expect to see in a 5-star hotel. The furniture in the cafe area was good, but the rooms had totally substandard furniture. The gym was a joke, but, why would one want to do anything in a stuffy basement room when one could walk or run by the water front just 1 KM away. The general condition of the hotel was very good. The staff was attentive, polite and helpful. They didn't try to oversell anything and were quick to respond to any request. The breakfast was nutritious, delicious and filling, though it wasn't obvious that some a la carte items could be ordered. The juices were terrible (hearsay) and the coffee was generally good.

Nice place in Istanbul

Posted 10-Aug-2015
Staff were very helpful. Rooms were very clean. Breakfast was very good. Did not use their free turkish bath to evaluate. one of the treadmills in the fitness center was acting up. would come again if staying at Sultanahmet in the old city of Istanbul.

Excellent Hotel -

Posted 09-Aug-2015
Pros: Good sized rooms, very comfortable. Great staff willing to help at every jucture
Location: Close to most major attractions - 300-400 meters to blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia down the road, Topkapia, Grand and spice Bazaars walking distance
Great Staff that are willing to help you at every jucture - Very close to all the major attractions in sultanahmet, the blue Mosque, Hagia Sopia, Topkapi etc I took may family of 4, on a ten day adventure in istanbul. The hotel is located close to all major attractions in sultanahmet or a single tram ride to the spice bazaar or grand bazaar ( Although both are walkable distances). The room was comfortable and the staff, excellent. We read previous reveiews of the hotel before we booked and they lived up to their expectations. If you want a hotel close to most local attractions then this certainly must be one of them. The hotel also has a spa and gym. For a boutique hotel, this one punches well above its weight. Excellent hotel, close to Blue Mosque & Hagia

Posted 05-Aug-2015
Pros: Extremely clean, location, service, people, facilities.
Cons: Nothing.
Location: Stones throw from Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and Grand Bazaar. Lots of tours operating every day. Huge range of restaurants to try!
A fantastic stay, minute walk away from all the historic sights, Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia and grand bazaar. Easily accessible to other tourist destinations also. Receptionists were incredibly professional, polite, helpful and welcoming (Sarkan and two other males who's names we didn't catch). They suggested a brilliant tour on the bosporus and other sites. Rooms were exceptional, very very clean, excellent view from window, hygienic, well catered and maintained. Beautiful furnishings also. Breakfast was incredible, a huge range of food! Delicious, hot, fresh and served in ample quantities. Altogether, extremely satisfied with the service, location and hotel. Definitely recommend to everyone and will surely be using this hotel again in future!

Hotel molto carino in Sulthanamet

Posted 02-Aug-2015
Pros: Posizione
Cons: L'aria condizionata almeno nella stanza da noi occupata ( 503) era di difficile regolazione
Location: In Sulthanamt a meno di 10 minuti a piedi dai principali monumenti storici e dai trasporti su rotaia. Vicinissimo a pubs, ristoranti, negozi.
Comfort complessivo decisamente buono.
