It’s value for money but don’t expect much. Room was sparse, bare bones, some stains in the toilet. Little sound proofing. But the location is great, right in the heart of beautiful places to visit and breakfast is available. About 1.5-2h from Istanbul Airport by public transport, or 50€ for the hotel’s airport transfer.

The location for a "walking" vacation was excellent! All staff seemed friendly, but Dimetry at the front desk was there to offer suggestions and help with any little questions. All around a great experience here.

My wife and I had a wonderful week at the Albatros Hagia Sophia. Our room with balcony was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, including refrigerator. The buffet breakfast was varied, and the restaurant service was excellent. The hotel’s staff were terrific—friendly, helpful, and always responsive. The location in Sultanahmet could not have been better—only a few minutes walk from the Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cistern, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, the Bosphorous, annd other attractions. There are numerous and varied restaurants, cafes, markets, and shops in the neighborhood. All in all, it was the perfect place to anchor ourselves in incredible Istanbul.

This was the best turkey hotel yet! The hospitality was next level, they were so accommodating we had an extra person and they readjusted and gave us a bigger room! Booked us the hamam and helped with airport pickup and drop off

Sent me to a cheaper and worse hotel!
I arrived to the hotel being closed for fumigation! I was taken to another hotel, nowhere near as nice and they charged me the same amount of money for a room which was clearly inferior. Honestly, I wouldn't approach this hotel with a bargepole.

Located within walking distance of all the top attractions of Istanbul such as blue mosque, hagia sophia and all the bazaars. The hotel is very clean and the staff are extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Definitely would recommend.

The manager and staff are very friendly, accommodating, and overall very helpful in explaining things about the city and what to watch out for. The breakfast is a little repetitive but they have a decent amount of options to choose from. The coffee is pretty good and the view is nice from the dining roof deck. The rooms themselves are relatively clean with some quirks like squeaky doors or some minor smell from the plumbing fixtures, but the air conditioning is good. The bathrooms are a little small, but that's the norm with boutique hotels. The beds were comfortable, and I had no problems getting a good night of uninterrupted sleep. The location is in a good spot for access to historical sites, the grand bazaar, and a bunch of restaurants. Walking the city at night is a safe and totally different experience than in the day, especially in this area. Overall I would recommend this hotel and staff for any first timers to istanbul.

This hotel is a great location for seeing all the sights within walking distance. And trams buses are also local and easy to use. Nice terrace for breakfast. The hotel is budget hotel, so do not expect luxury. However the rooms are clean. The staff were very helpful and cheery.

the front desk guy (night shift) used my credit card, i reported it to my bank and then to the manager but they did not do anything about it. it was a terrible experience. my advice: cover the 3 digit code with black marker. Once they have all the info, your card can be used as soon as you check out. OR if you can turn on/off your card, do it ! terrible experience in Istanbul. We only stayed in one hotel here in Istanbul, only at Albatros Hagia Sophia. Im wondering if the manager is in connivance with the front desk attendant.

Great Location and staff
Great location, short walk to Hagia Sophia! Very kind staff who go out of their way to help. Parking is off site and on (for a time). I enjoyed my stay! Breakfast is buffet style with eggs prepared how you like them!

Nice place.
The room was comfortable, and location is good, the staff was friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast with nice view on the top of building. Hope will come back to same place next time.

Nice location
The location is great. The stuff is super friendly. But, the mirror was broken in the room, the sheets are really old. So a little improvement will really make it better there.

Here you feel like at home
I initially went there to stay only two nights but ended up staying five nights. All the staff, without any exception, were extremely polite and helpful, which made me feel like at home. The neighborhood is quite and safe, and in close proximity to most of the areas of interest. Hagia Sophia, Topkapi Palace, Sultanahmet Mosque, Basilica Cistern are only few hundres meters away. I would definitely visit this hotel again
