Julie is a very nice host! After check out she also allowed me to stay on and do some work in the communal area. The room was nicely cleaned every day and was very generously stocked with coffee and tea

Nicely decorated, very well equipped rooms which are spotlessly clean and comfortable. Extremely nice owners who go the extra mile. Have stayed in a family room and a double room on two different occasions and will I be back!

Great for the price
Room was lovely and clean. And full of nice touches, especially the hot chocolate. Shame there wasnt any breakfast due to covid.

Very dated and run down. Owners did make an effort but initially could not get into the property and had to make several phone calls . Breakfast was satisfactory. View from room was of a generator! Bed was rickerty and squeaky every time you moved. Expensive for what was offered.

Good location for seeing the Isle of Wight. Room was adequate with good facilities (tea and coffee, fridge, microwave, etc) but let down by things that didn't work (3 lights, tv remote, feeble shower, very slow draining shower tray and uncomfortably soft bed)! Parking tight or on the road. Good range of food for breakfast.

Cycle tour overnight with children
Good size family room with shower and bath. Good generous breakfast (full English and cereals/porridge etc). Just what we wanted on a cycle tour. Storage round the side to lock up our bikes.

Best hotel on isle of wight
Perfect location, close to the beach, local pub, restaurant. Excellent service and fabulous breakfast. The host was really friendly too. Recommended choice.

Lovely B&B close to shops, beach and bars!
Whitecliff View was a cosy bed and breakfast, the staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely breakfast bar - a huge array of cereals, fruit salad, coissants and yogurts, and that was before the cooked breakfast! It definately set us up for the day. We were able to come and go as we pleased, no night time lock down. The room was comfortable with soft mattresses and thick duvets, though not necessary in the stifling summer heat! Good bathroom facilities, fluffy towels and an easy to use shower. We would definately go back.

Nice litfle family run hotel. Very comforable and the owners are very welcoming and helpful and will bend over backward for their guests! Thanks for an amazing stay! Just the break I needed.

Fantastic B&B wasn’t sure what it would be like as it was very cheap but convenient for my meeting. It surpassed my expectations & I had a great sleep in a very comfortable bed. One downside breakfast doesn’t start until 0830 the time my meeting started but I was given aome cereal and offered Juice which was more than enough as I had a fridge in the room and plenty of coffee. Wifi was ok and usable although not as fast as I would have liked otherwise brilliant stay and would defo stay again when on the IOW

The hotel was very nice & welcoming set in a quiet street with the town & beach within a 5 minute walking distance. rooms serviced every day the hotel owners were very pleasant & friendly i would certainly recommend it & look forward to returning next year. My boys & i really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast delicious.

Small b& b
Whitecliff view is a small b&b five minutes from the beach and shopping high street. The owners are very friendly and most helpful. Very good breakfast plenty of food ,diets are well catered for even gluten free. Small car park at front of hotel and a small pleasant garden.

ISLE OF WIGHT visit for the festival
A warm welcome from Darren and Julie .Very good we had to leave early on our departure day to catch the ferry, Julie made sure we had breakfast and left everything ready for us.

Catchup Time
our trip was to catch up with old friends, and staying at the Wightcliffe View hotel enabled us to do just that with ease and comfort. The management were very welcoming, and made us feel at home immediately.

Good b&b in Sandown
I enjoyed my stay here. Because it was quiet and they were redecorating, they gave me a free upgrade to a larger room. It was comfortable and well appointed. The owners seemed very friendly. Sandown has seen better days, but has a lovely beach and is a good base for exploring the island. I would stay here again.

Highly recommended.
Highly recommended. This is a great place to stay and is certainly well worth the money. My room was very clean and warm. Tea, coffee etc and a fridge. The owners do everything possible to make your stay as comfortable as possible. I will make this my first choice when visiting Shanklin in the future.

We were the only people staying at the time, so we were given a choice of two rooms. The towels were changed every day. Breakfast was good. We felt welcome.
