Great stay, from the big rooms, comfortable bed and quiet to the plentiful breakfast options. Easy parking out the front. And the Rock Shop (lollies and sweets) is just down the street on the corner.
Really pleased with the room. Very clean, nice shower and bath. Great view and the furnishings and bed gorgeous. Good breakfast also. Only hitch was we had dinner in the hotel, sat in a side room ( at my request ) and waited 35 mins for the busy staff to take my order only to find that I was supposed ...
Very helpful host with nothing too much trouble. Lovely contnental breakfast with freshly cooked quiche and boiled eggs, cooked with care to individual taste. Holidaymakers of all kinds make tracks for the Isle of Wight each year. Tucked away in the peaceful Solent and just a few miles off the Hampshire coast, the island is an ideal choice for those keen to get away from it all. Of course, none of us like to cut all ties completely when we go on holiday - we're all addicted to our social media and email accounts these days! That's why an increasing number of tourists are going in search of hotels with WiFi when booking their holidays.
For many of us, social media has become an integral part of our relationship with loved ones far and near. The ability to stay in touch no matter where we are allows us to share our experiences with the people we love. This is particularly important on holiday. Booking into a hotel with WiFi means you can keep your friends and family up-to-date with what you're doing while you're away.
Got a once in a lifetime shot of your toddler meeting a llama for the first time at the zoo? Zip it off to grandma back at home in a flash. Or maybe your hotel's serving up some seriously photogenic grub? Upload it to Instagram directly from the hotel restaurant.
It's not only holidaymakers who pass through hotels on the Isle of Wight. Business visitors and professionals often need to make a stop, particularly at hotels with conference facilities. When you're travelling on business, it's always important to stay connected. This allows you to communicate with your office and to access vital information that can allow you to get in a little extra work when you get back to your room at the end of the day. A reliable, high-speed internet connection allows you to do just that.
Fortunately, WiFi is becoming an increasingly common feature of hotels around the world. From intimate bed and breakfasts like The Richmond in Shanklin to larger outfits like Luccombe Manor County House, hotels and guesthouses are now recognising the importance of supplying a good WiFi connection to their guests.
