Nice little b&b with friendly staff and a good location. The room we stayed in was modern and looked better then the pictures online. The breakfast in the morning was a very nice full-english, or continental. I would happily recommend this location to friends etc.
nice old building tastefully and sympathetically decorated and furnished, we had a twin room. The mattresses were a bit uncomfortable. The breakfast was very nice too. Above all the lady that owns the B&B was very friendly and helpful. I will go back for sure
A cosy and friendly B&B in a quiet corner near to the town centre & the beautiful clifftop promenade. We had a very warm welcome and our room & the public areas were spotlessly clean. It was an ideal place to stay. I recommend it.
Convenient for public transport. Small room but very clean. Helpful staff, they let us leave our bags before we checked in. Good cooked breakfast. Perfect for one night any longer the room may be too small
B&B situated on a road where it has free street parking, or using a public pay & display car park. Our room was nice but disappointed there was no wardrobe only hangers on the wall which we used for coats. The TV was in an awkward position to watch. The tea bags & milk were not replenished and we ...
I had a lovely time attending a wedding on the Isle of Wight. My first bit of joy came from when I walked off the RedJet from Southampton to find my hotel directly in front of me! The staff were friendly and got me into my room slightly earlier as I was due to attend the wedding at 3pm. The room ...
Holidaymakers of all kinds make tracks for the Isle of Wight each year. Tucked away in the peaceful Solent and just a few miles off the Hampshire coast, the island is an ideal choice for those keen to get away from it all. Of course, none of us like to cut all ties completely when we go on holiday - we're all addicted to our social media and email accounts these days! That's why an increasing number of tourists are going in search of hotels with WiFi when booking their holidays.
For many of us, social media has become an integral part of our relationship with loved ones far and near. The ability to stay in touch no matter where we are allows us to share our experiences with the people we love. This is particularly important on holiday. Booking into a hotel with WiFi means you can keep your friends and family up-to-date with what you're doing while you're away.
Got a once in a lifetime shot of your toddler meeting a llama for the first time at the zoo? Zip it off to grandma back at home in a flash. Or maybe your hotel's serving up some seriously photogenic grub? Upload it to Instagram directly from the hotel restaurant.
It's not only holidaymakers who pass through hotels on the Isle of Wight. Business visitors and professionals often need to make a stop, particularly at hotels with conference facilities. When you're travelling on business, it's always important to stay connected. This allows you to communicate with your office and to access vital information that can allow you to get in a little extra work when you get back to your room at the end of the day. A reliable, high-speed internet connection allows you to do just that.
Fortunately, WiFi is becoming an increasingly common feature of hotels around the world. From intimate bed and breakfasts like The Richmond in Shanklin to larger outfits like Luccombe Manor County House, hotels and guesthouses are now recognising the importance of supplying a good WiFi connection to their guests.
