"Great hotel"
Beautifully appointed hotel. Lovely spacious, light and well furnished room, with very good en-suite. The whole property is tastefully presented and spotlessly clean. Andrea and Mark are excellent hosts and run a very professional establishment, whilst being very welcoming and relaxed.

"very clean and quiet and spacious"
Stayed for night. Very quiet and clean. Nice breakfast served on time in room. Felt sepaprte from the rest o fthe house - certainly werent aware of others in house. Would definately stay there again. Because it is in countryside probablty easier to have some form of transport- but we didnt investigate buses so cant comment.- may be fine. Cycles would be fine..

"A very idyllic cottage, set in a lovely backdrop."
We booked out trip to the Isle of Wight, and saw that this cottage had not only one of the best ratings, but a lovely look to it. We paid for one night upon leaving, with a rather modest fee. The owners were very nice, although they seemed quite rushed. They were always talkative, mind, and it was lovely to hear of the area and the history. There were also a selection of pets that were both mischievous and adorable. Beatrix the dog in particular! It was a cosy night away from the city.

"Lovely character property"
Lovely room (twin room in no.4) & lovely breakfast area (and good cooked breakfast!) with garden outside. Handily located in Newport within walking distance of high street. Handy for the bus station for buses all over the island. Very comfortable stay.

"2 night stay "
We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. If you like staying at a quiet and comfortable b&b then this is probably the best on the island. Ann was brilliant and gave us a quick tour of the premises including the sauna and jacuzzi before we unpacked. Breakfast was really nice and set us up for the day. It felt like home from home. Also you get 10% off the bill at The Essex just yards away where we went for dinner, and they serve great food too.

"Clean and comfortable for a good nights sleep."
We stayed for just the one night at the end of our holiday and found the hotel easy to find and comfortable enough small. TV was tiny and set high on a cupboard. Whilst we don't watch TV a lot on holiday it was a very wet night so not much to do.

"Clean and respectable"
Clean and tidy room and pleasant people. Only one chair for double room and shower cubicle is small, some noise from room above and side are the bad points. Good size TV. Nice main lounge with bar. Breakfast could be better with addition of hash brown. No self service for cereal or fruit juice.

"Convenient place to stay for a night "
Convenient for public transport. Small room but very clean. Helpful staff, they let us leave our bags before we checked in. Good cooked breakfast. Perfect for one night any longer the room may be too small

"Good hotel on the seafront"
Standard hotel that offers clean accommodation in a prime location. Though initial arrival welcome was well lacking I think that it is the restaurant that let's down the whole experience and from a guest saying a great experience to saying instead average stay. I have stayed at the Trouville before and truthfully you do miss.the previous restaurant manager as she was friendly, welcoming and the restaurant ran like a well oiled machine

"Excellent stay in Sandown"
Had 2 day stay at The Westfield after being let down by another hotel! Very glad that we did as had a lovely stay with an excellent freshly cooked breakfast. Clean and comfortable en suite room with tea/coffee making facilities. Fresh milk in fridge and bottled water was a nice touch plus complimentary sweet and savoury biscuits. Games room is available if you want something to do in evening (we were worn out after a lot of walking during the day)! Close to Sandown station and 5/10min walk to beach. Would definitely stay again.

Pocket Guide: Hotels with WiFi Hotels in Isle of Wight

Holidaymakers of all kinds make tracks for the Isle of Wight each year. Tucked away in the peaceful Solent and just a few miles off the Hampshire coast, the island is an ideal choice for those keen to get away from it all. Of course, none of us like to cut all ties completely when we go on holiday - we're all addicted to our social media and email accounts these days! That's why an increasing number of tourists are going in search of hotels with WiFi when booking their holidays.

    Keeping Up with Social Media

For many of us, social media has become an integral part of our relationship with loved ones far and near. The ability to stay in touch no matter where we are allows us to share our experiences with the people we love. This is particularly important on holiday. Booking into a hotel with WiFi means you can keep your friends and family up-to-date with what you're doing while you're away.

Got a once in a lifetime shot of your toddler meeting a llama for the first time at the zoo? Zip it off to grandma back at home in a flash. Or maybe your hotel's serving up some seriously photogenic grub? Upload it to Instagram directly from the hotel restaurant.

    Staying Connected for Business

It's not only holidaymakers who pass through hotels on the Isle of Wight. Business visitors and professionals often need to make a stop, particularly at hotels with conference facilities. When you're travelling on business, it's always important to stay connected. This allows you to communicate with your office and to access vital information that can allow you to get in a little extra work when you get back to your room at the end of the day. A reliable, high-speed internet connection allows you to do just that.

Isle of Wight Hotels with WiFi

Fortunately, WiFi is becoming an increasingly common feature of hotels around the world. From intimate bed and breakfasts like The Richmond in Shanklin to larger outfits like Luccombe Manor County House, hotels and guesthouses are now recognising the importance of supplying a good WiFi connection to their guests.
