"2 night stay "
We had a lovely stay for 2 nights. If you like staying at a quiet and comfortable b&b then this is probably the best on the island. Ann was brilliant and gave us a quick tour of the premises including the sauna and jacuzzi before we unpacked. Breakfast was really nice and set us up for the day. It felt like home from home. Also you get 10% off the bill at The Essex just yards away where we went for dinner, and they serve great food too.

"Clean and respectable"
Clean and tidy room and pleasant people. Only one chair for double room and shower cubicle is small, some noise from room above and side are the bad points. Good size TV. Nice main lounge with bar. Breakfast could be better with addition of hash brown. No self service for cereal or fruit juice.

"Comfortable, friendly, well-located hotel. "
Comfortable, clean hotel, with basic but good facilities. Well located for travelling to all parts of the island. Friendly, welcoming owners and two very fluffy, friendly cats, which my daughter loved. Good value for money. Would definitely recommend.

Pocket Guide: Bed and Breakfast Hotels in Isle of Wight

Peppered with Heritage coastlines and Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the Isle of Wight is one of the United Kingdom's most treasured holiday destinations. The island is just four miles off the Hampshire coast, but the peaceful journey across the Solent can offer you all the distance you need for a truly relaxing break. Alongside its idyllic beaches and sleepy villages, one of the island's many highlights is its broad selection of first-rate bed and breakfasts.

An Intimate and Friendly Bed and Breakfast

Bed and breakfasts come with many advantages over larger hotels, one of the main ones being the relationship guests can build with their host. Even just a brief chat over a morning's cooked breakfast can quickly fill up your itinerary with information from an inside source! Speaking with the locals, you've got the best chance of finding the best beaches, walks and attractions in your area.

    Iconic Coastline

The Isle of Wight is famous for many things, but the iconic Needles have got to be top of the list of must-see sights. The unusual rock formation is neighboured by Tennyson Down, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty that offers unrivalled views out in every direction. Visitors keen to explore this stunning part of the island have plenty of bed and breakfasts to choose from. The Criers Croft B&B offers easy access to the Needles and Tennyson Down, as well as nearby Yarmouth and the multi-coloured sands of Alum Bay.

B&Bs in a Victorian Seaside Resort

On the south side of the island, the Victorian town of Ventnor offers a quintessentially English holiday destination. Visitors can enjoy a walk along the lively esplanade, or can take in the views from any one of the town's numerous hillside B&Bs.

    The Bustling Centre of Cowes

One of the livelier towns on the island, Cowes is home to some of the best hotels on the Isle of Wight. Many of the town's bed and breakfasts offer easy access to the waterfront, either on the River Medina, or the Solent. A popular spot with tourists, there are plenty of places to eat and drink when the sun goes down.
