One block from Restaurants and Shops!!! Our beachfront house is directly on the ocean with parking for guests staying at home only. You can hear the waves from the front rooms. Recently remodeled bathrooms and new ceiling fans in all the bedrooms. This is a BEACH HOUSE for large families (sleeps up to 19) that has lots of open space with lots of light. The great room is two levels with windows above to give you a BEACH feeling even while you are inside. The lower deck is covered with protection from sun and rain. This deck has two sets of tables and chairs for dining or cocktails outside. There are two open decks off the upstairs ocean front bedrooms for private sunbathing. This location is ideal as you are 2 blocks of easy beach walking to food, drinks, ice cream and shopping. However, you are far enough away from any public parking that the beach in front of the house is limited to occupants of homes and not day tourists. It is never crowded. Golf Cart provided by Lightning Bugz Rental with a QR code on the windshield for rental details and liability wavers. The house was very clean, had everything we needed, and then some. Location is perfect for walking to restaurants and bars if that’s something you are interested in. The home owner was very responsive and was very helpful making accommodations for us when needed. The only thing about the house was that we preplanned where everyone was going to be sleeping but one of the rooms that had two bunk beds in the listing were broken down into two bedrooms with three beds. I was a little hesitant to rent after reading some of the earlier reviews but so glad I went ahead and booked. We all thought this was the best house we have stayed at. I will be honest, there were some issues that need to be addressed such as electrical lights but this wasn't really an issue for us. It is not the most luxurious but you can tell they have made updates and it is very nice. Yes, the outside is a little run down but who cares as long as there are no safety issues. Unless you are super picky and hard to please, you will like this house. You can also walk to some restaurants and ice cream shop. ##### CONNIE S. This home was wonderful, and the owner could not have been nicer. The view was absolutely wonderful, the home was clean, and fully stocked with linens/towels and even pump hand soap at each bathroom sink. We were there for a long weekend, and the drive into Charleston was an easy one! We walked to the local shops/restaurants on the Isle of Palms, and loved sitting on the deck each morning sipping our coffee admiring the ocean view. It did downpour one day, and we still sat on the deck, watching the lightening over the ocean. We would ALL love to visit again in the future. Thank you to the owner for being flexible with our needs!
