Apparently they had the boilers replaced recently, they told us, but the shower was poor. Kettle had a massive dent in it. The replaced kettle only worked when placed on the electricity supply at just the right angle. All the furniture in the room was cheap and tacky faux oak laminate where the oak was peeling off. An electricity cable was taped to the walls up the stairs. Basically you have to wonder why they bother to keep the hotel going. It’s in need of huge refurbishment and gives off the opinion of why are they continuing to bother offering accommodation. Very surprised it’s on the Hotels.com listing of venues to sleep. If I was Hotels.com I’d remove it as it damages their reputation.
