"Great front desk and cleaning staff. Centrally located and you can walk everywhere in Oak Bluffs. Small showers and bathrooms, but not a deal breaker cause don’t plan to spend a lot of time there. I’d like to see another hanging basket for toiletries in bathroom, add Apple TV and HBO Max to television as options. Let people know there’s no elevator so that we are prepared to carry our luggage up 4 flights of stairs, I got help from front desk but not fair for them to carry guests luggage. I’d definitely stay here again in spite of some criticism."

"Beautiful home, beautiful location! Pictures do not do it justice. This home has so much character. Worked excellent for a large family event. Fully equipped kitchen made large meals a breeze. Dog and kid friendly. Layout worked perfect for our group. Large table was perfect for games, separate sitting areas for those needing a little quiet time also worked great. Location to eateries, on site parking, and proximity to ferry and beaches a plus! Beds were so cozy it’s hard to head home! Would stay again!"

"The room was comfortable and the parking was great. However, if a property advises that it has a pool, then the pool must be available at least some of the time. Because the property also acted as a health club for locals, the pool was never available for us. The pool has a limit of 4 people at one time, which is utterly ridiculous and not in line with pools at other hotels we stayed at locally. Also, there was no signage about this, and we weren't told about this verbally, so we only found out when health club users (extremely rudely) stopped us from entering the pool. When we discussed this with the hotel manager he took the side of the health club users and ignored their complete arrogance and unfriendliness. Clearly the hotel is more interested in money from locals than from hotel guests. The hotel manager's approach to this completely upset my wife. He came down to the poolside and ordered my wife out of the lane that she was using (which had one other person in) and then told us that she was not to use the pool again for the duration of our stay. From that point on, no-one on reception spoke to us, and when we checked out we weren't even thanked for staying there. We've stayed before at this property and especially booked a return to the area because of it. Our holiday was completely ruined by the attitude of some of the locals and the hotel management. We'll never come this way again."

"My wife and I really enjoyed our stay. This Cottage is the perfect size for a couple. We enjoyed the beautiful quiet setting that was close to town. The host thought of everything and the cottage was so clean it felt like we were the first people who ever rented the unit. We walked into town several times and loved the location. Do not hesitate to rent this cottage. "

"Our room was huge and had a comforatble bed. It looked recently renovated and was clean. The bed was comfortable. It was a rainy cold day so I asked for an extra blanket. I was given the blanket and offered a space heater which was perfect. Walking distance to restaurants, pizza and sub shops, and the supermarket and ferry."

"This is a superior listing. We just spent three nights (late March) at the cottage and it was extraordinary. We've stayed in a number of accommodations on MV and this was, by far, the best. The cottage is adorable, super clean, nicely outfitted (kitchen is right-sized for the cottage and has everything you'll need). The first night the wind was up a little bit and we could hear the waves gently hitting the shoreline (that's how close you are to the water). Sunrises were amazing. You are right in the mix (Vineyard Haven), steps to restaurants, shops, etc. We loved hearing and watching the ferries come and go. Magical. Mike was super accommodating and a great communicator. "
