"The resort is nice however the infrastructure is showing its age. The elevators acted up with one not stopping on our floor even when floor button lit. It took two tries up and down before it opened on the ground floor and we walked up. That elevator was down for maintenance the next day. We were offered an upgrade to a beach view suite with Juliette balcony. It was a beautiful view and suite was clean and comfortable. However the sliding door to open the balcony was extremely hard to open & close with the handle very loose. We ended up not opening. Bathroom plumbing was showing age. The only deal breaker was the elevator. Otherwise it was a nice stay."

"This property is extremely deteriorated. The only positive thing about the TradeWinds is the location on the beach. The price we paid for the room quality and cleanliness makes me sick. They scam their ratings by having people leave great reviews for servers/beach attendants to counter the terrible reviews from the actual property. The rooms are disgusting: I mopped the first night because they felt nasty and the cloth I used was black from all the dirt. Kitchen amenities are lacking(no dishwasher or oven, no paper towels, minimal cooking pans). The water takes minutes to warm, sinks don’t drain, etc. After checkout, I looked over our bill and we were charged $25/night for a roll-a-way bed. Not a problem if they would have disclosed that to me when I asked for a pack n play. We definitely would have just used one of the other beds in our room that was meant for up to 10 people(we only had 5). The food was overpriced (as expected) but terribly low quality. Absolutely disappointed with this place and will never be back. "

"When I pulled up I thought it looked like a standard type Florida motel but……. I was wrong. Once you enter the back of the resort you will be totally surprised with 2 really nice pools, jacuzzi, very clean beach scene, beach restaurant , gourmet restaurant and bar and a really nice coffee shop. "

"Exactly what we needed. Beds were comfy, water pressure good, quiet neighborhood but close to everything. I really liked the little den room. Nice place to play some uno or strum a guitar or watch TV. Backyard abundant. Nice mid century furniture and features. Good communication. I'd stay there again knowing what I know. For sure. "

"I specifically booked my stay at St Pete Shores Hotel the night before my half marathon because I wanted a relaxing, stress-free environment near the ocean. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite. From the moment I arrived, I had ongoing issues with my room key not working. After multiple attempts and repeated trips to get it resolved, I explained the situation to maintenance, expecting assistance. Instead, I was met with accusations that I was being dishonest in order to get a different room, which was both unprofessional and frustrating. The lack of basic customer service and the way this situation was handled completely overshadowed what should have been a calm and important night before my race. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you’re expecting a smooth and accommodating experience."

"First impression of the home was disappointing, the property is not maintain, the grounds/lawn is over grown with weeds and trash, no garden, the garbage can was full of trash and the house is old. The inside is very nice with newer appliances, flat screen TVs, nice bedding and a very comfortable bed, bathroom was clean, the living room was clean but had an old couch. You may want to look at the property first, the neighborhood is sketchy but was quiet. I was under the impression that the price I paid on Expedia was it but I had to pay more to the owner the day of for a cleaning fee and deposit. Recommend having someone stay with you."
