"Perfect Hotel for central location in Isla Mujeres"
Had a great time. Patty and Terese were awesome. Walked to different parts of the island everyday (no need to rent a golf cart or take taxis). Great restaurants nearby (try Oscars for sure). Loved hanging out in the roof top pool with a 360 view. Close to a major supermarket and the rooms had a basic kitchenette. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and simple, TV and excellent air conditioning. Everything we needed.
Booked the Castle room. Asked to be moved to the Tower section the second day because those rooms have covered outdoor areas that can be used when raining. The staff was very accomidating. The room was small but adaquate. It was what we were expecting based on the reviews. Stayed 3X previously at Privilege Alluxes but wanted a different experience focused on the beach and the restaurants.
This hotel is not for everyone. There is no room service, no AC in every room and inconsistent wifi. However, it is private, clean and the location is great. We have stayed here twice and are coming back in a month and a half. We really enjoy staying here and hope for many more visits!
Great hotel, right on a fabulous beach. Super close to tons of restaurants, but I still recommend the all inclusive for the price. Well worth it if you just want to stay in and grab a bite.
We had the deluxe suite, and so did two other people in our group. We ended up with a bar and living room, and an ocean view. The other two rooms were not. I'd ask when you check in, as the extra space was well worth it.
We traveled with an almost 2 year old and the resort was very accommodating, and there were a few other children on the resort.
Tons of beach & pool chairs available.
Only tiny negative was that some people tended to hoard the pool floats, and even take them up to their room every night. But seriously no big deal. :)
Accessible by ferry, Isla Mujeres is a major ecotourism destination. El Parque Natural Garrafón (Garrafón Natural Reef Park) features coral reefs inhabited by schools of fish. Giant sea turtles come ashore at Tortugranja to lay eggs. North of Isla Mujeres, thousands of rare and tropical birds roost at a natural sanctuary on Isla Contoy.
