Top Ishitera Tea Fields Hotel Reviews

JR WEST GROUP VIA INN PRIME KYOTOEKI HACHIJOGUCHI

10/10 Excellent

"Seriously, cannot say enough good things about this place! Within 4 minutes walk of Kyoto station so EXTREMELY convenient and walking distance to Don Quijote and Daiso (within 10 minutes walk) in addition to being attached to a 7/11 that’s open 24 hours a day!!! Also, the staff is lovely and so helpful! We needed to ship luggage the day we left the hotel to be delivered 5 days later to Tokyo (we were traveling with backpacks to Fuji and Tashirojima) and they handled everything for us for a reasonable charge and so much better than waiting in line/dragging the luggage to Kyoto station with us!!! The room itself was spacious enough for 2 people but the beds are standard Japanese beds (too firm for a bad back like mine) so that’s the only con I have to this hotel. Laundry machines were within the hotel (on floors 2,3, and 5) and cost ¥1000 for washing and drying of a “standard load” of clothes PLUS the coolest thing is there is a channel on your TV in your room that shows you the time left on every machine in the building as well as off ones are vacant! Very worth the money staying here for all the conveniences and, if you get the breakfast buffet, it’s good to try a bunch of traditional Japanese breakfast foods without feeling wasteful! Overall very happy with our stay!!!"
