This was supposed to be a 4* hotel. There was no room service. The restaurant closes at 10pm and the bar at 11pm. I have never stayed in a 4* hotel with no room service.

We only had one set of bath towels for one person. I asked reception for more towels. They could only offer 2 hand towels. They said they were fully booked and that was all that was available.

Convenient and good
I was pleased with my stay at the Mercure. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. I like that fact that windows can be opened. Breakfast buffet has a huge selection of items and a great choice of teas. The in-house restaurant was a convenient choice for dinner for my business trip.

Skip the apartments, nice room, great restaurant
We had booked an apartment which was absolutely terrible. Very dirty all over. After I wet to reception and showed the pictures I took, we were upgraded to a privilege room. Friendly staff and great service. The room was very comfortable and we had great dinner in the restaurant.

Front of house staff were fine. Restaurant staff were unhelpful. Nothing in English. No written menu. Just a qr scan code if You happen to have a mobile phone With you. Even with Covid what is wrong with a photocopy of the menu which can be recycled after your meal. Not rocket science.

Good location service needs improving
A great location for an overnight stop en route to the French Alps but hotel struggled to cope with the numbers. One waiter was really rude to us in the restaurant asking us to move even before he checked that we in fact did have a valid reservation.Long wait at the bar to get served for drinks. Food wasn't available until 7pm. Disappointing for the money paid.

Hotel bears wear and tear. The price for the room is too high compared to the standard offered. The room was prepaid, however they tried to charge again at check-out. Coffee or tea was not offered in the breakfast resturant. I had to ask for it. Personally I would prevent this hotel in future.

Would Not Recommend!
So many things went wrong during our stay! First of all the room we were given was located outside of the hotel, so you had to walk in the cold wet rain to get to your room. The room had 2 floors the sink and shower on the first floor and the toilet on the second floor. Which meant that you had to go downstairs to wash your hands every time you used the bathroom which was upstairs. We were 2 people and they only gave us one towel!! The thinnest, flimsiest towel I've ever seen. We had to ask for another towel EVERY DAY, and some days were only given a hand towel to use. The Do not Disturb Sign kept going missing, I had to ask for new ones at reception. There are 2 restaurants on site. The restaurant with the bar, the staff was very rude. The other restaurant which was the one where you get breakfast as well, the staff there went above and beyond and were amazing. We had issues with charges we did not make. Like laundry, which we didn't have done! The problem stems from the fact that they charge everything to your room, simply by asking the room number. No ID check at all!! So anyone could go to a restaurant, laundry, spa, whatever and use your room # to charge their things. Worst of all, we saw a woman get a key to her room at reception without showing ID or giving her name, just her room number. So irresponsible, STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!

Check in was fine but they said the room is "outside". Had a fair walk to these old dark buildings not attached to Mecure that are in dire need of knock-down. Rooms smelled stale. Was not impressed with anything. Beds were lumpy and things in general were in a poor state. Unfortunately the worst property I have stayed in a long time.

Great stopover on way north from Riviera. Business park location but ideal for us, not wanting anything but a great overnight - good bistro( sensible prices and good quality) , excellent breakfast, comfortable room, ample parking (even a swimming pool and leisure centre). Also good location for continuing north, bypassing Lyon. - so ideal.

Perfect over night stop going skiing.
Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the motorway en route skiing - a perfect choice. Service was good and the family room was very spacious.

I booked apartment room, which was supposed to have free WiFi. It did not have any Internet connection at all. I had to change to the main building for a more expensive room, which was then given me as free upgrade as clearly they have miss-sold their rooms on your website. Other noticeable thing with the apartment room is, that the toilet/bathroom was upstairs (narrow and steep stairs), so if you have any mobility difficulties, do not book apartment room. This was not stated on the website.

Large grounds, lovely pool and terrace area, good gym and spa facilities. However the staff are in need of training. The front of house were not particularly interested in their guests. We were told very casually that one of the two restaurants was closed for August. Really in the peak of the summer season???? The room is fine if a little tired and need of updating. The bathroom has been updated and was good. The bed was comfortable but the pillows were a very inferior quality and lumpy. The restaurant was not good. The food was very mediocre indeed. My braised local sausage was disgusting, the saute potatoes from the freezer and the mange tout mush. Breaksfast was inlcuded in our room rate although some people appeared to be paying 15.50€. There was one person serving, the bread was hard, and the bread for toasting was stale. The plates were filthy we had to sort through six to find a clean one. The poor waitress could not keep up with replenishing everything on her own. The choice was standard although who eats mini frankfurters for breakfast I don't know and the bacon was undercooked. Not a great experience mostly due to the attitude of the staff for which there is no excuse.

Hotel offers everything you need. It is a bit far from downtown Lyon. As long as you like the location (great town too) you can't go wrong with this hotel. The food is varied and good quality at fair prices too. Easy parking, pools even. Choice of light or big breakfast.

Hotel is located close to the airport in Lyon. It has two restaurants with different meals offered for dinner. Rooms are not big, but space is optimised. Each and every day I got the coffee refill, since it is offered free of charge in the room, which I liked very much.

Best Western - close enough to Penn State
Stayed here during Penn State parents weekend. 20 minutes travel time. Hotel was like new, clean and comfortable. Get to the breakfast buffet early.

Wir sind nachts um 00.30 Uhr dort angekommen, da unser Flug Verspätung hatte. Leider waren in einem Zimmer für 4 Personen nur 3 Kissen zur Verfügung. Wir wohnten in einem kleinen Appartement ausserhalb des eigentlichen Hotelgebaüdes. Anrufe bei der Rezeption blieben um diese Zeit unbeantwortet. Um zur Rezeption zu gelangen, hätte man komplett um das ganze Areal herum laufen müssen, da der direkte Zugang zur Rezeption um diese Zeit geschlossen war. Kurzum, ich musste Kleidung als Kissen verwenden. Für ein Mercure nicht hinnehmbar. Zusätzlich war das Bett aussen sehr dreckig und alt.
