We loved the stylish new bar/dining area and refurbished bedroom. Breakfast was included in our reasonable rate but was disappointing with the poor quality of the food provided not in keeping with the generally good standard of the hotel.

I was impressed by the reception bar and dining area, but the breakfast wasn’t very good there wasn’t any fried eggs and the other food was only lukewarm even though it was on hot plates coffee was aired toaster took ages to brown even though it was turned up full. There was only minimal staff around. Dinner was lovely.

The room had been recently renovated but not the bathroom. We received a room upgrade due to a booking mix up. The was very large with two double beds and a seating area. Regrettably this room was located nearest to the bar and reception. Guests attending a wedding were noisy and we were regularly awoken by guests coming and going.
