This 2 bedroom 1 bathroom cabin has been fully renovated with a clean, coastal theme. The eat-in kitchen features new stainless appliances and plenty of cupboard space for all of your cooking needs! The kitchen opens up to the spacious living room with large flat screen television. The living area can accommodate two guests on the queen sleeper sofa with memory foam mattress. The large picture window overlooks the beautiful Harper Lake! Just off the living area you'll find the full bathroom with tub/shower combo and plenty of towels and washcloths for your stay! Bedroom 1 features a Queen platform bed with new mattresses and large closet. Bedroom 2 features two new twin beds and a large closet as well. The enclosed rear porch features large sectional for your relaxation! Sit and enjoy the lake without the bugs- feel the breeze or leave the windows closed! Back Yard features a fire pit with a CHARCOAL grill. Please review sleeping arrangements and square footage prior to booking. A home that sleeps 6 does not mean that there are 6 beds. Please be sure the sleeping arrangements are appropriate for your group. Summer Rentals = 7 day minimum stay. Check in on Friday- Check out on Friday. We have TONS of happy customers- check out our other properties listed on VRBO! FAQ's Can we bring our pet? Unfortunately this homeowner, as well as many travelers, have pet allergies and have opted to maintain a pet free home. We are sorry but we are not accepting pets at this time. What do we need to bring? Most of our locations supply toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, dish soap, sponges, linens/blankets/pillows for beds (beds are made for guests) as well as towels, washcloths, kitchen towels, etc.. We suggest bringing anything you feel you may need and reviewing our amenities and supply list in it's entirety prior to traveling to your rental. Can we camp on the property? Camping allowed on select properties. Contact prior to arrival. Fee may be required. What activities are available in your area? The activities in our area are nearly entirely outdoor recreation activities. Blessed to be located in the Manistee National Forest we are lucky to be very close to some amazing hiking/fat biking trails such as the Big M and the North Country Trail. We are surrounded by lakes and rivers as well. Kayak or canoe on the Big Manistee, the Little Manistee or the Pine River. Watch the salmon run in the fall in small creeks or fish one of our many small lakes. We are also located only about a half hour from Lake Michigan and it's beautiful beaches. Shopping is available in Manistee, Ludington, and Traverse City. Our area also has many ATV and Snowmobile trails and trail maps are available online and in the welcome book at our cabins. This cabin is located approx 20-35 minutes from Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks for skiing and snowboarding. We are located 25 minutes from the Little River Casino and our area hosts the Hoxeyville Music Festival Annually as well! How far are you from...? Sleeping Bear Sand Dunes: A little over an hour Manistee: 25 Minutes Ludington: 50 Minutes Traverse City: 1 Hr- 1 1/4 Hour What is your cancellation policy: You will receive a full refund if your stay is cancelled at least 30 days prior to arrival. The house was super clean and cutely decorated. It was so nice to stay by the lake, it was beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw that there was a washer and dryer there. We had a very nice time with family and friends, would definitely go back. We had everything we needed to feel right at home. The scenery can’t be beat. We loved the lake and used the kayaks one day and rented a pontoon boat another day. It has everything you need (including the coziest blankets for cooler nights). The screened in porch overlooking Harper Lake is the perfect place to sit, relax and enjoy life. It was fun just to sit and watch everyone enjoy the lake on boat or jet ski. The place had a row boat and two kayaks which were fun to use! I highly recommend this place. It was perfect for the two of us.The house is very clean. Plenty of towels and kitchen is basically stocked.The path down to the dock is cement patio blocks and can be somewhat challenging if you have problems with mobility.We had a hard time finding a flat space in the backyard to place our lawn chairs for lake viewing.We did see two eagles dive for fish just feet away from the property. Was unable to access code for the lock box due to no cell service. Good thing the property manager lives right next door and saw me struggling to get in. Beautiful cabin. Beautifully decorated, the great room is, well: great! Cupboards are well stocked with towels and kitchen supplies, bedrooms are generously supplied with extra pillows and blankets, and blankets can be found in the great room and the sunroom. Someone thought of it all! This place is restful, peaceful, has amazing views, quiet nights, and short drives to pretty little tourist towns. We enjoyed a wonderfully restful week. ##### Diane S. The place was perfect for our family of four. When we weren't at Caberfae we were comfortable hanging out at the house watching tv, eating, and playing games. It was so quiet all I did was sleep. The sun and moon over the lake was breathtakingly beautiful. I didn't have any dealings with the owners but the property was immaculate, big Kudos to the housekeeper. I loved going in early fall. There is nothing wrong with the water (it's well water, it taste fine), as a previous person stated. I do wish I had a larger blanket or plug in heater for the porch for the cool mornings and evenings. I definitely see myself returning in early spring. We stayed Mon-Friday and upon check we had a mega snafu. This easily could have ruined my stay, but upon reaching out to the property manager, she was extremely willing to discuss a way/ways to mediate the issue quickly and was courteous and kind during these discussions. This issue was resolved and we overall had a great stay! We loved: -the decor (so fresh and cute!) -Furniture was clean and comfortable, they have added two big recliners which thankfully was able to seat our entire family -EASY walk out lake access!! We floated and swam and used their two kayaks. -location, quick drive to Dublin General Store, Sand Lake (public access), North Country Trail Head (biking) -screened in porch (reading and coffee spot) -charcoal grill, fire pit, picnic table and front yard lawn furniture. -fancy big TV for movies at night! -tower fan and AC Suggestions- Bring outdoor seating for backyard -A standing fan (AC is in living room only and unless you sleep with the door open, it gets HOT in the bedrooms) -water shoes or sandals (mucky lake bottom) -drying rack (no where for things to dry like swim suit or beach towels ##### Katie T.
