Top notch. No complaints. Only problem was full car park. Had to use public one across road. Otherwise, excellent.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The beds were comfortable & the room a reasonable size with good facilities. The breakfast was very good, a cooked breakfast was available, cereals, fruit, yoghurts, bread/toast & pastries. If it was booked before midnight on the day of stay it was reduced in price, £10 instead of £13.95. The only problem was the regeneration being carried out on the third floor which meant building noise during daylight hours. This didn’t affect us too much as we were out & about but thought it should be mentioned.

With some building work for room upgrades, the work only started after normal day times, We had an Upgrade room where the facilities along with the Buffet Breakfast were excellent as was the bed for sleeping with a very gently and quiet air conditioning running, A lot of satellite channels did not work i.e. Sky News (No signal found!)

The property was clean and the location is very good, close to restaurants and town centre. The rug in my room has seen better days and needs to be replaced. I enjoyed my stay.

This was ideal as a central location and suited the purpose of our stay. The parking was £7, but we needed it, so paid through gritted teeth and lucky enough to get there early enough for a space. The road outside our room was busy, but the closed window cut out the overnight noise.

The property is near all shops and restaurants But during our stay some floors were undergoing renovations and so it was noisy. The staff were nice.

Nice large bed, great shower, large room. Safe, fridge and plenty of beverages. Fantastic choice on the buffet breakfast.

Wow! What a difference to this hotel since its refurbishment and change of staff. Loved my newly refurbished room, the improved choice at breakfast and the outstanding customer service, particularly from Lindly, who looked after me at breakfast, engaged in conversation and provided the perfect example of how to deliver excellent customer service.

Great location, excellent staff. Amazing breakfast and eating area. The room was spacious and clean, bed sooo comfortable. If we were to be picky, the decorative aspect of the toilet in our room and the stairwell (which we used each time as the lift was out of order) was a bit neglected, shabby and bare. We felt that we didn't really have anywhere to hang wet towels, ended up handing them on cupboard door handles in the room. Other than this we can't fault it.
