The stay was fine, but I was disappointed that despite our booking clearly showing that WiFi was included (listed under "facilities"), the staff wanted to charge £5 extra for this and would not provide the code for free. I believe this is fraudulent.
I was not expecting TV - though there was one in the room - again, EasyHotels want to charge you £5 to let you have the remote buttons! £5 for an evening's TV is extortionate!
Now, lets be fair - for (in my case £20) a low nightly charge, the room, though basic, is perfectly okay for purpose and was clean and reasonably warm. The lack of any daylight (no windows) and the inexcusable positioning of the main light switch (that you have to put your key card in to get any light) BEHIND the door, is strange but manageable, and the weird light from the heater control panel and red light from the TV is a little obtrusive given the otherwise total darkness of the room.
The rooms fixed, two-hanger, coat rail is rather inadequate - especially as there is no straight rail to hang your own hangers to - so if you have a few clothing items to hang, then you're out of luck.
The room DID have plenty of sockets for phone charges etc, and I was amazed to get a weak phone signal - though I doubt you'd get sufficient to download programmes etc without moving to the lobby or outside (maybe the nearby McDonalds?).
The "shower-room / wc" is built-in to the room - with a rather strange semi-frosted glass dividing wall (not ideal for the coy!)
