This hotel was perfectly acceptable. Friendly staff at check-in. A little on the older side, so could use some updating, but not bad for the price. Breakfast was not amazing. Cold biscuits and gravy that neither of us could finish. Ther were other basic options, however.

Broken hot tub
We enjoy staying at this hotel, when their hot tub works. The last couple times it has been broken. I payed for my room through Hotels, so I was obligated to take it. As I was signing the paper I asked if the hot tub worked yet. The kind lady said no, they are waiting on a part. The only reason I went there was for the hot tub. Hotels offered me $25 when I talked with them about this. That wasn't good enough for me, so I declined and went to a different hotel. I guess I am out $122.08 now.

The front desk guy when we checked in on the holiday was very nice and helpful. The heater and refrigerator in the room were noisy, keeping me awake. The room was very clean.

The owners of this property seem to treat customers like an inconvenience. The cleaning staff only tended to my room twice over a ten-night stay, and when they did, did not replenish soap or shampoo. Avoid room 320 as it is right next to stairwell and this building sounds like there was never any insulation installed anywhere, you can hear EVERYTHING in that room.

Good value for this area
Great value for this area. Older hotel; but it is clean and well maintained. Customer service is some of the best we've experienced in awhile; and should be acknowledged. Breakfast is your typical (eggs, meat, sausage and gravy, yogurt, pastries, waffle machine, etc.) We would recommend bringing a fan or other "white noise" option due to thin walls and families traveling with children. There is a nice indoor pool that and spa that was being used by others while we were there.

The Reston Inn is an unassuming property - it doesn't look like much from the outside or the property pictures, but give it a stay, you'll be glad you did. Every single staff member (I think I spoke with five here and there) I spoke with was friendly, helpful and efficient. The public areas are very clean and the rooms are as well. I was even impressed by how comfortable the beds were. The only reason that I didn't give an "Excellent" overall rating is because the swimming pool area had a very strong chlorine smell and the hot tub jets were barely moving the water. Also, while the pull out bed in the suite was nice, it definitely was not meant to sleep two people - we were counting on that for our stay. We all agreed that we'd stay at the Reston Inn again!

Our TV didn’t work on Saturday morning so we called the front desk. We were told they would check it out while we were gone for the day. It had not been done when we returned around 8:00 pm. We called again and the lady at the front desk apologized and replaced it as soon as she could get away from the desk. It was an inconvenience because we were trying to shower after being at the fair.

Ok to stay a few days
The hotel was decent. The rooms have shown some wear. However, the front desk clerk stated they have had some rough guests that are hard on things. He also stated they are doing renovation shortly on some of the main rooms to update. The beds aren't too bad when it comes to confort. The room was overall pretty comfortable.
