The apartment itself is located in the small village of Inchmore, 6 miles from the Highland Capital Inverness, a super central base to explore the Highlands. It is a beautiful, peaceful area suited to walkers, cyclists and outdoor enthusiasts. Reelig Glen ( a woodland walk ) is a short stroll away, Britain's tallest tree can be found here. A short drive away you can visit Cannich, Glen Affric, Glen Strath farrar, these places are well known for their beautiful scenery, mountains, forests rivers and waterfalls. Plodda falls near Glen Affric is the highest and most spectacular waterfall in the area, over 40 metres high.
Beauly is a thriving, bustling village 5 miles from the apartment, here you will find a vast selection of shops, restaurants, take-away's and entertainment. A popular village also for those interested in game sports, fishing is available locally on river Beauly which is a renowned Salmon river.
Drumnadrochit ( approx. 10 miles ) a popular tourist village on the shores of Loch Ness, Urquhart Castle lies on the West Shore of Loch Ness with splendid views over the Loch.
