Traditional Whitewashed Fisherman's Cottage Overlooking Loch Fyne

Cottage with kitchen, walk to Loch Fyne
Traditional stone terraced cottage with outstanding views over Loch Fyne to Castle Lachlan and Inver Cottage. Sleeps four comfortably. The cottage is situated in an ideal location for visiting the Argyll area. Whether you like walking, cycling, sailing or fishing there's something for everyone. Walk in the footsteps of ancient Scottish Kings, cycle along the Crinan Canal or fish on the Loch. Or for something more relaxing, visit Fyne Ales at the top of Loch Fyne and sample their craft beers and visit the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar to taste some exceptional Scottish smoked salmon and oysters. Free slipway for launching small boats / kayaks nearby. The cottage is twelve miles south of Inverarary (Castle/Jail/Whisky/Restaurants/Beer Garden). Lots of easy low level walks and cycling routes nearby. For more demanding walks the Arrochar Alps are forty minutes away (eg The Cobbler). If you have time take a day trip to the islands of Gigha or Arran (brewery and distillery). Visit Oban (and perhaps Mull) or Tarbert (great fish and chips). However, a visit to Kilmarten Glen with its many prehistoric sites and Dunadd Fort is a must and is just a 30 minute drive away. Go further afield and visit Campbeltown or the Mull of Kintyre, made famous in the song by Paul McCartney and Wings. The cottage has recently been extended to include a sitting / dining area adjacent to the kitchen. The cozy lounge has views to the loch and features a modern wood burning stove. Bedroom 1 has a King sized bed with a memory foam mattress with views out to the loch. Look out for the fish farm boats heading south in the morning. The bathroom has a large walk-in shower with 10.5kW electric shower. Recently modernised throughout including new modern electric heaters. Large garden area to front and rear of property. A firepit is available for use on a summer's evening to keep the chill and the midges at bay! On property parking with space for up to two cars. Easy access from Glasgow by bus if not travelling by car.
Guest accommodation at this cottage offers fireplaces and coffee/tea makers. Kitchens offer fridges, hobs, microwaves and kitchenware and utensils. Additionally, rooms include a hairdryer and an iron/ironing board.

Four year old called it 'home' in 24 hours
We rented this cottage for family members who were visiting while our new house was still in building. Picking up the keys in advance of their arrival, we found the cottage modern, efficient, bright, cleverly up to date, with lovely views and a back garden that proved a delight for young children - a four and eight-nine year old. The entire family were unequivocally positive about it - and about using it again in the future,
