The property itself is lovely. However there was one day our room was not cleaned, for reasons unknown. There was an item in the mini fridge that had already been opened and 3/4 drunk, not by us.

The hotel was a nice hotel, however, the rooftop terrace was unavailable and this was not disclosed throughout the booking process, this is the first time i have used expedia to book a trip so after hearing such great reviews i was disappointed that a fact so vital was not shared before paying for the holiday, As well as this we could hear the drill from the work they were carrying out on the roof which was not told to us upon check in either. Very disappointed as the main reason we chose this hotel was becuase of the rooftop terrace bar.

Rooms were good. Not that big but wall Painting very cleverly made to look much bigger. 2 single beds pushed together with a duvet each. Nespresso machine with 4 free pods and others to buy for €1 each. Spa nice. 2 saunas and big jacuzzi and 15m pool with lots of sunbeds and free towels.

It is a very nice hotel its very close to the cente its also very clean and lays on a good breakfast I would recommend this hotel .

Swimming pool and breakfast were good. Great location and quiet. Sadly ,we were woken at 7.00 by decorators painting outside our room which we hadn't been pre warned about .The area was filled with decorating equipment. Appears to be a conference hotel but suited us for a four night break and very reasonably priced.

POSITIVES:Exterior is beautiful old building in an excellent location near Parliament. Rooms are new additions in rear of building. Quiet at night unless people are in lobby or there is party on roof, see below. Very good courteous staff. Fabulous self sevice breakfast. NEGATIVES:Windows open into courtyard which is covered with a glass roof. Nice looking but noisy even with window closed, since sound travels in a vortex. Renovations were ongoing daily from 8am to 4pm, but it is off season. Tiny shower stall, TV mounted on side wall and ar weird anle for viewing.

Hotel in good location , friendly staff, excellent breakfast choice although hot food needs to be a lot hotter . The rooms need maintenance table between beds collapsed lot of wood damage and towels in need to be replaced very thin. But my biggest bug bear has to be paying for room coffee they gift you four pods then you need to purchase more which I consider outrageous never in any hotel all over the world have I ever had to pay for coffee in room

Great hotel Great value in amazing Budapest

Loved this hotel. The staff is very nice and accommodating. The room was nice and clean. The breakfast was great. On our last day, we were leaving before breakfast so they made us box breakfasts to go. I liked the are -- a little less touristy but a great location. Easy walk to several hop on hop off bus stops.
