My wife and I were exploring Cape Breton Island and were very satisfied with our three night stay at Castle Rock Inn. The Inn was comfortable and clean and quiet. Our room met all our expectations and offered a spectacular view of the Ingonish Bay Area. Breakfast was excellent, the offerings a cut above. The on-site restaurant was closed as expected given the lateness of the season, but the staff were generous in giving us tips about alternatives, and more generally about interesting things to do in the area. Jane especially deserves praise in this regard. Obviously a very friendly, caring person. Her help was much appreciated.

Awesome little property on the Cabot Trail. Close to the entrance of the Cabot National Park and some good dining options in the area. Get a room on the backside of the Inn on the second floor for a beautiful view of the water and sunrise. Enjoy a home cooked breakfast on the patio with stunning views. Nice little property in the middle of somewhere.

Unfortunately the weather didn't allow us to see the views which I imagine would have been spectacular. The room was comfortable and parking was easy. The included breakfast was great but we were a little disappointed that there was no dinner option which meant a drive to find somewhere that was open. All turned out ok though.

I was charged more by hotel on check out then what I originally booked through Hotels.com. I have disputed but no luck. I stayed for 2 nights and inspite of putting do not disturb board, my room was opened for cleaning while I was not there.

Staying at this inn is like spending a weekend at your great Auntie’s house from England or Scotland. Quaint, spotless, and comfortable with a delicious breakfast, Warm and gracious staff. China cream and sugar with china cups and a fantastic view.

Great property with excellent views. Breakfast was great with a wonderful view. Only thing we didn't like is that they forgot to clean out our room fridge before we checked in and there was leftover food in it. Close location to Ingonish restaurants and trails. Would stay there again for sure.

We had a great stay at this location. The room was very clean and a nice size. The breakfast was lovely with eggs, fruit, cereal etc. The staff was friendly. The view was gorgeous despite the rain. We would recommend this Inn and would stay here again.

Restaurant and bar not open due to lack of staffing. Hotel is not close to town so ended up eating at a dive little place about a mile away. Note there is no elevator. Staff was very nice.

Overall, we enjoyed the inn. The breakfast was really good, the views were incredible, the parking was good and it was close to the Highlands Park. Good value for the money. The room was small and it made things cozy but manageable. The restaurant was not open for dinner. There were dome other restaurants near by.
