I travel 365 days a year, I do not have a home base. This hotel started off fine as it was in a good location close to the central station. However be aware, the shower will soak the bathroom so naturally after you shower you’ll be wading in water until it naturally dries. I also was given one pillow and one little half comforter to sleep on (I’m 6’3). My room (6th floor) was super hot with nowhere that I could see to air it out besides open up the balcony door to let in the 30 degree air (not something you can really do at nighttime without freezing). Because of the heat, blanket, pillow situation I didn’t sleep very well at all. Lastly, it marketed laundry however it doesn’t market that laundry is only available from 3 pm - 9 am. I went to do laundry when I first arrived and was told I couldn’t until 3 pm. I assumed this was because I was early to check in and 3 pm was check in time. The next morning I would come to find out there is a laundry window, something I was told at 9:30 am the day of my checkout leading me not to be able to do laundry. Small thing, but wish the front desk worker would have actually communicated with me instead of just saying “after 3 pm”, just a heads up. Good things they did were let me use an umbrella for free, had a universal plug in to buy on site (for $8), and they let me check in early which was nice of the worker at the desk. Ultimately a 3 star review that would be lower if there weren’t very nice people working there.

The young gentleman at the front desk was very polite, friendly, and accommodating my stay was very enjoyable. They had washing machines and dryers on the premises. I would highly recommend this hotel!! 5 stars

Location was nice, the new windows help decrease outside noise (traffic). We stayed on floor 2 - my oversight on no a/c definitely made for a hot, stuffy room even with a little fan for air movement. It worked with two kids however not ideal if staying for longer then 2 days.

Better than expected. Close proximity to station. Room was spacious and clean and had good facilities including a kitchenette. Bed could have been comfier but was fine for one night. Overall, good value for money

Good hotel but weird area.
The hotel itself was excellent. Great shower. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed etc. but l was not prepared for the deprivation on the street immediately outside the front door. It is quite shocking on first arrival…..and on departure come to that although l appreciate that this is clearly a social problem and is in no way the fault of the hotel. Having said that, l experienced no hassle from the assembled throngs outside. However, l would certainly not take children to that part of town, no way.

People were nice but we had to move to the other Vi Vadi on Bayerstr 89 because the downtown location HAS NO AIR CONDITIONING in the rooms!

Handy Location for stations and transport
The hotel was convenient in its location about 5 to 10 minute walk away from the central station and about 10 to 15 minutes walk away from the old town, also handy tram stops nearby, room was nice and comfortable, got lots of sunlight in the Mornings, corridors probably needed a bit of renovation although to be fair a couple of lower floors were being refurbed at the time, comfy bed, smallish bathroom

Perfect location
This was an amazing stay. It is walking distance to so many museums, beer halls and shopping. The staff was amazing. They were all so very helpful and went over the top to even print my airplane paperwork the day before travel. I highly recommend this place

Unfortunately i was overbooked and had to stay at a sister hotel in the city. Not a real problem, but i did hope for an upgraded room or a meal voucher as a gesture of goodwill. My hotel booking stated as i was a Gold Member i would receive a free bottle of wine and an upgrade if one was available, but this was not the case. I imagine both hotels are similar standard and to this extent, mine was fine.

Don't think it's convenient
The room is what is used to be studio apartment and converted. The bathroom is so tiny that I hated the shower so much with shower curtain. I also found some ants running around on the kitchenette top and table. The bed is comfortable but there are no outlets on any side of the bed. It's bit disastrous. Location is okay if you are coming by train.

Best place of our entire three week trip!
Great location, easy to walk to several tourist type places. Very close to train station and metro stations for a day trip to Austria or a few minute ride to the BMW Museum and Welt. Very clean and warm, laundry access on site. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Room had fridge and microwave so we could make a quick stop at the nearby grocery store for some almost home cooked meals.
