Besides a lack of basic service such as cups for the room, one of our members had two strange men enter her room after midnight because someone at the front desk had double booked the space. Extremely scary and unwarranted. The rooms were in disrepair and there were issues with upkeep from basic issues such as ripped and torn cushions in the lobby seating area, hall lightening missing, elevators that needed servicing, etc.

The location is a little remote and far from city center. We need to take a bus to the subway station and spend about 45-60 minutes to the city centre or Central Station. We picked this hotel because of its rate and close to the airport which we need to take a morning flight days later. Staff is friendly and helpful, though the taxi they booked for us didn't show up in the morning and we need to get Uber to the airport instead.

Overall okay
Overall so-so. Hallways and such are banged up. Only free parking for about 8 then the rest have to pay and considering how far out of town it is, this is ridiculous. The hallway my room was off was not even heated, making the room colder. The hotel was 5 minutes by car to the nearest subway. The room itself was clean though. Breakfast for 12.50 Euro also just okay.

What I didn't like was the attitude of the staff, particularly the lady receptionist. It seemed that although there was a 24 hour bar advertised, in practice there was no bar staff. I was repeatedly kept waiting at the bar, while the receptionist performed her checkin duties which seemed to take priority and forever. When I asked her if she could serve me I was given a stern lecture that her job was as receptionist and that there was no bar staff! She would serve me when she was ready and that I must wait. It was said in a most unfiendly way infront of all the people waiting to check in. After this I decided to make alternative arrangements and cut my stay short. I would definitely not recommend this hotel. It is defitely not very welcoming!!

Very nice and comfortable,
The hotel was very nice, although a bit “dented”! A little bit outdated in colors and furnishing, but confortable nevertheless. Double room ok in space, typical “european” size. The staff very accommodating and friendly in all shifts. No airport shuttle though...it was stated as service available for a fee, but in reality it was a regular taxi service they hired and the fee was a regular taxi fee. I preferred getting there by Uber, for nearly 1/2 the price. My thought was: “ If I had enough money, I would love to renovate the place, change the color of the furnishing and add A/C to rooms and Lobby!” One down side, no restaurant or something to eat on the premises, had to look outside for sth for dinner.

Excellent for the price
This hotel is hotel is exactly what I expected and is excellent value. Here are some things that you should or shouldn't expect. The hotel is located in a small town close to the airport. It's about a five minute drive or you can get a train. The train station is about twenty minutes walk from the hotel but there is a bus service. I also noticed a local taxi service. The hotel itself has a large underground parking garage as well as some parking out front which is all free. The rooms were fine for the price. There is a restaurant downstairs that serves breakfast for about 12 euro a person. We didn't try it and so I can't comment on the quality. There is also a bar and an outside garden that we used in the evening. The town itself has a few nice restaurants, a super market, a beer keller, a pharmacy and a few coffee shops. We tried the German and Mexican restaurants but there is also an Italian and Thia all within 20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive. The location is within a two hours drive of Neuschwanstein Castle and Salzburg as well as many other tourist locations. The local train service will get you into downtown Munich for around 9 euros in 30 minutes. They seem to run about every 20 minutes. If I were to ask for any improvements it might be air conditioning (it was very hot while we were there) and that the restaurant provided some evening meal.

Cheap night stay but I wish I had paid more and gone elsewhere. Having stayed at Tryp Rosenheim before and been pleased, I expected the same standard. Instead dark so you couldn't see properly when arrivin6tired in the evening. Scratches on black headboard made you cri ge, showrr not capabke if being held up on its own, mattress not in correct place on bed so pillow sunk, no drinking chocolate avsilsble at bar even though on menu, miserable staff member & I don't like tea or coffee. Even all that would not have made me give a bad review, but in the brightness of the morning, found ants running around on desk, on Blind that wouldn't move and our possessions even though the window had not been opened and we could not get at it because of the blind. Took ages to try to sort through our possessions to repack without transporting ants. I was truly distressed as 8was not feeling so well anyway and this destroyed any relaxation I had achieved during my holiday. When I complained I was only offered a coffee which I detest. Simply not good enough. Absolutely shocking and will never again go to s Tryp. If there is any question in your mind whether to go or not...DON'T!

I stayed one night as I was changing planes at Munich airport. There was not shuttle as advertised and the hotel is farther than I thought from the airport. I took the SBahn (S1) and then had a 20 minute walk from the station to the hotel. The hotel could use a freshening up and is not in the best condition. But it was a reasonable price and adequate for one night.

We were stranded at the Munich airport because of a snow storm. We had to spend the night and this hotel had one room left. It was a very basic hotel, but quiet and comfortable enough (the bed was a little uncomfortable.) It was adequate and served our purposes (and lots of other stranded travelers.) It wouldn't necessarily be my first choice, but it was fine for what we needed.

Good location, room was comfortable and spacious. Lacked AC but these months by cracking open a window and letting the cool breeze in you can enjoy it. Easy check in and check out. Seemed to have a very large breakfast room although we checked out very early and did not enjoy breakfast there.

This property was more like a hostel rather than a hotel by Wyndham. No key for our room (had to request front desk to let us in every time we left the room), no remote for television. Addressed these issues at the front desk--so sorry, nothing they could do. The basement room was so dark with only a small candlelit bulb on the wall. Spiders crawling up the walls and onto the ceiling. Really a very disgusting "hotel" and nothing as advertised.

It was clean although a bit dated, staff was very friendly and took good care of us. Had issues with the shower and almost got scalded. Complained to management and they did not seem real concerned about it. Much further away from transportation than we thought and on weekends, no bus to train station. Would probably stay again.

Stayed at this location many times when I worked at the manufacturing facility around the corner. Not much has changed since then. Good value if you have business in the area. You need a vehicle if you need to go further afield.

Where to start? The hotel is on the very edge of town, so there's virtually nothing around you (can be good or bad, depending on your point of view). The outward appearance is very nice, and the lobby appears to have been recently redone, however the lighting in the hallways is awful, the "furniture" in my room was plywood with old worn out black paint. The room itself was extremely small with barely enough room for myself and 2 bags. At the bar, I ordered a "pizza" for 10 Euro (TOTALLY not worth it!) and what I got was a toasted piece of unleavened bread with a white cream sauce (NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING CHEESE) and some onion and ham bits sprinkled throughout--awful! If you do stay here and are looking for a place to eat, there's a decent Bavarian restaurant about a 10-15 minute walk back toward town, on the same side of the road as the hotel. For the same price you can eat WAY better! In all that's my 2 cents!

I arrived exhausted. The room was cozy and clean. The staff were very polite and communicated easily in English, which was extremely helpful for me.

NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE FOR ME
I stayed here because of the proximity to the Munich Airport. The first item that was a surprise to me was that the hotel was 2 kilometers (about 1.2 miles) from the train station. There was municipal bus service but I chose to walk. The room was on the third floor (U.S.) which meant it was right up against the slanted roof style. So it was like being in the attic. The room was the size of a closet. As there generally isn't air conditioning in Germany, it was hot unless the small roof window was opened. Problem with that is the insects can find their way into the room and bite so I kept that closed. The room was relatively updated. I found small debris in the sink, on the bed frame and the room floor. After I checked in I went to the front desk to ask a question. The desk clerk was raising his voice to 2 subordinates and didn't bother to stop when I stood there. I felt this to be totally unprofessional. On checking out very early in the morning, I had to ring the bell 3 times and got no response. Finally a person came up to check me out. She didn't ask about my stay and told me I was fully paid. So my suggestion is to find a different place to stay.

Very bad mattress and stinky toilet.
Very very old saggy mattress.Had backpain during the stay. The bathroom stunk like sulpher somehow. Long hairs on the floor, Wifi was too slow to open any website. They advertised that we had Sky TV in every guest room, but only about 5 channels were available. Breakfast had very limited selection. Hotel was very very expensive for its price. The rooms really look different from the pictures!
