The gentleman at the front desk was nice and tried his best but the hotel is out of room keys so when i checked in he had to unlock the room for us and we have no key for our stay. Guess we're in the room till checkout

I was told when I checked in that the water would be turned of from 8:00am the following morning and would not be turned on until 5:00pm. Luckily we where gone all day so we where not affected. My room was not very clean. There was makeup smeared on the floor in the bathroom and in the bedroom area. The stove was so old I was afraid to turn it on. The 3rd night I stayed the CO2 detector started beeping about 10:30 PM. There was no chair in the room so I could not reach it to reset it. I went to the front desk and the night desk clerk dug around and found a battery and gave me an end table to stand on. I could not get the cover off and he did not have a screw driver. I was able to reset it and it was quiet until about 4:30 the next morning. When we left the hotel that morning we asked the front desk staff to make sure it was fixed before we returned that evening. It was not fixed. We returned at about 8:30 that evening and as soon as we walked in it was beeping. I immediately went to the front desk and the clerk saw that it had been written on the log but had not been taken care of. He could not find the battery that I had left with the night clerk. He came to the room and took the battery out of it and left it hanging open. The following morning we where greeted to a lobby full of police officers. The staff was very nice but that is not enough for me to recommend staying there again.

Everything at the property was good. Nice area, has a mall nearby and many restaurants. If I had a downside, it would be that there was a long line for check in with only one person working it. The room keys were all laid out and ready, still and all was fine. The breakfast is a armoire with hot water and coffee, bagged muffins and instant oatmeal. I would say if you are coming for a big game like Michigan vs Iowa, prepay the room when reserving it. They run an audit between 12:30 and 1 am. If you aren’t paid up and checked in, your reservation is cancelled. If you chose to pay at property, you must check in before game.

Their were burn holes on the floors and carpet was tore up some. The hallways smelled funny as well and two of the lights didn't work at all . Very disappointing for almost 100.00 I wouldn't even have stayed there but we needed something because our son was having surgery Tuesday morning

They canceled our reservation
I was in class when I got an email saying that my reservation had been canceled. No reason. Most all the other hotels were full. The front desk person was just uncaring. They found a room with a double bed (my reservation was for 2 doubles), it was up on the 3rd floor and the elevator has been broken for a very long time apparently. My boyfriend and I have physical limitations, but it was the only room left. When we got up there, it was obvious that they hadn't changed the sheets. Needless to say, we slept with clothes on. The free "break" was non-ex. I will never use hotels.com again and I will not be staying at this hotel chain again.

Day staff did little to satisfy requests for dishes or towels. We had to ask multiple times to get these items and then we had to pick them up at the front desk which no one ever mentioned. We only found this out when we had to ask for the second or third time.

As we were checking in a "friend" of the desk clerk was telling a colorful story. The conversation between the two should have paused while customers were present. The clerk did her best in doing her job, however, someone needed to tell the other person to step away.

Unpleasant Stay
This was not a great stay for me. The smell in the lobby was not pleasant. It smelled like tobacco. We received a non smoking room, which still had the smell of tobacco traveling throughout the ventilation to our bathroom which then went to our room. The elevator did not work so we had to walk up and down 3 stories every time. It mentioned free breakfast but this was not your normal free breakfast. They called it grab and go. Coffee, a granola bar, oatmeal...
