During my most recent two stays, when I've left wet towels on the floor of the shower cubicle to be changed, Housekeeping hasn't changed them but has instead just put the wet towels back on the towel rails, leaving me with wet, dirty towels to come back to!

Nice but needs attention to detail.
Returned after a few years with my husband. Nice welcome but missed out on some specials not offered and issued the more expensive wine option, will check next time. Needs a little more attention to detail I. Cleaning- bin in room not emptied from previous occupier. Overall lovely but a little disappointed. Will stay again .

Amazing staff, lovely and friendly had a issue with my tyre going flat and the lovely reception let me borrow her own personal one and really helped me out thank you 😊

Mouldy
Nice room but walls were thin and could here everything in the other room. The shower head was unbelievably mouldy and the cold water tap bottom was black and not somewhere inviting to wash and brush your teeth! Ordered drinks at the table sat for a while and waited paitiently while the staff chatted at the bar.. not serving until 15 mins later my partner had to get up and ask for his drink again. Other than these issues the place was nice and the food was good.. i just hope they clean the kitchen to a higher standard than the room!

Excellent stay.
A really pleasant stay. Staff were friendly and courteous from the moment we arrived. Room was large clean and just the right temperature. The bar had a chilled relaxed atmosphere with a fantastic selection of drinks. Our morning breakfast was absolutely gorgeous. We had a full English but many other options were on offer. Everything on the plate was cooked to perfection with my scrambled egg a triumph. All in all this place is a hidden gem. I would heartily recommend a stay over if you're in the area. You'll not be disappointed.

We had two issues when we stayed, but the staff delt with them the best way they could. Including listening to our concerns and addressing them very well in a freindly manner at a very busy time of year.

Good overnight stay
We enjoyed our stay. The hotel seems well run and the common areas are well decorated and furnished comfortably. Our room was comfy, the bed was enormous! The bathroom was ok but the shower could have been cleaner. Breakfast was good.

Hotel was friendly and welcoming, really lovely and clean the only thing I will say is our bed was incredibly squeaky which wasn’t ideal for a couple :/ also the bedroom was over looking the entrance road and I didn’t realise the windows didn’t have a reflective film on them so people couldn’t see in the room so I got undress in full view of the poor overlooking houses. Apologies for my big white bum. Apart from that the hotel was lovely and the restaurant menu looked amazing although on this occasion I didn’t try.

The room was cleen and comfortable. the bath hangle was hanging off in the bath the breakfast service was poor they had a wedding on . So we had a dog so we had to go into the other room waiting 40 minutes to be served at our table we just walk out complained to the manager she was very nice and understanding we paid 25 extra for cleaning but did not clean our room once we complained again we got our money back for t he cleaning and the breakfast there needs to be some clarification that guests with dogs need to be treated same as wedding guests 😉

Nice pleasant stay
Pleasant helpful staff, nice spacious room, large bed made up of zip and link type singles, mattresses could do with being replaced though especially one which had a big concave in so pretty uncomfortable. Apart from that no complaints and would stay again.
